One of the most underrated player because of his Stats but his leadership and standing up at crucial moments made him an exceptional player. A great human and above all made everybody love New Zeland as a team. Today New Zeland is the most underrated team in all the formats. Most importantly the brand of cricket they promote is adorable. Don't know why their Board isn't arranging more Test matches for them because they are a wonderful Test Side. Also, people don't consider them a strong team but they are one of the favorites for WC - Strong Top Order(Guptill, Williamson, Taylor, Latham), Excellent Allrounders(DeGranhomme, Santner), One of the best pace bowling Duo(Trent, Southee).
His approach in 2015 WorldCup was murderous...... He demolished all bowlers....
Specially how he attacked dale steyn in the semi finals

He changed the Kiwi team forever. It would have been great if he gets to open the innings a lot earlier. New Zealand reached the finals in 2015 wc, because the starts that Bazz was giving in each game, and the rest of the players after him can take their time to play their own game. Specially in the semis vs SA, he just went after that dangerous bowling attacks, scoring at 12 rpo, and the rest of the players took their time and won that match.
Baz one of the greatest of all time no doubt and he was one of the greatest leader too

Stats always won't describe and McCullum is a proof.he was responsible for developing NZ team at an important stage and his captaincy was spot on and he developed NZ team such that they had the best bowling attack nowadays.Boult,southee,Henry are now top-class bowlers and he instilled the aggressive attitude in them
