Leslie Cube (Infrared Emission) Video Guide

This experiment allows you to investigate the infrared emission from the four different surfaces of a Leslie cube. This uses the same physics as thermal radiation from a black-body object. The Leslie cube is filled with hot water to allow temperature-dependent measurements. Advanced experiments also allow calculations of emissivity, and distance-dependence of signals. You also get to fiddle with an amplifier and a digital multi-meter to obtain stable signals!
