You should heat the pressure plate In an oven. 220f does it. Heating just an area can cause cracking with the different thicknesses of material on the pressure plate due to the thinner areas expanding faster. You want to heat it evenly and bring it all up to temp evenly. Might as well freeze the bearing too while you are at it.

Keep the lexan cover protected on the outside until you are done with the bike. Things like brake cleaner or other solvents will make it look very foggy.

As the balls are harder than the rings you now have nice indentations on both rings. The bearing is now ruined, period! 😞 Might not be such a big deal, as the Ducati clutch rattles and makes a lot of strange noises anyway! 🤣🤣🤣 Killer clutch cover, by the way!
