No joke, Westlife is my favourite boyband. They have a bunch of other songs you should react to: Bop Bop Baby Written in the Stars (it doesn't have a music video, but it's possibly my favourite song from them) Obvious Dynamite Amazing Us Against the World Tonight
These guys started out in '99. So pretty much anything that wasn't on the debut album is gonna be 00's. They were getting going just as Boyzone were wrapping up, so they were essentially the new generation of Irish boyband. Ronan was even assistant manager for a time and played a small role in them getting started.
I prefer the version of Queen of My Heart from the Twenty Tour Live from Croke Park, it's without Brian and MUCH better! One thing you can be sure when you listen to live versions of any Westlife song: They always sound better than the studio version :)
My suggestion for episode 4 is 1 What makes a man, which is from Coast to Coast their second album which has My Love and I lay my love on you on it. 2 Bop Bop Baby, another song from their world of our own album and a very fun music video 3 Tonight, from the same album as Unbreakable and a personally a song I have loved since I heard it for the first time. 4. Mandy from their 5th album turnround and definitely a Westlife tent pole song. Few honourable mentions, Hey whatever, which I think you'll enjoy, Home, Amazing and The Rose.

The actors in uptown girl were in some popular movies bohemian rhapsody night at the museum 101 Dalmatians and more if you look at their history. Also “Bob the builder” is taking a pop at Mambo No.5 because that song went to no1 at Christmas with bob the builder in the video and beat westlifes what makes a man which would have made westlife 6 number one singles in a row. Which I’m still upset about 20 years later 😅
Ohhhhh…their performance of I’ll See You Again Live From the O2, which is a tribute from 2009 when both Nicky and Kian’s dad passed away is a MUST see. And if it doesn’t bring you to tears you need to see a cardiologist. It was the first song/video I ever watched from Westlife and I just stumbled upon it while surfing RUclips one night about a year ago. After the first watch I was so mad that I had never heard of these guys and that they had been denied their breakthrough into the American music scene. I spend hours almost daily ever since then watching and researching. I can’t believe they will actually be in the US next March and I wasn’t able to get tickets. Hopefully, they will return!
