the best thing about the movie is that Gunter and Rosita were JUST friends, like partners as in coworker, they didnt have a lovey relationship since shes already married, and Norman really loves her considering how many children they have AND the fact that Rosita herself being a hard-working mom REMEMBERS all of her children, yes its hard but she works through it, they're wild cause theyre children and she understands, they never physically abuse them, which i could never also GOD DAMN its just a masterpiece from illumination, theyve been milking gru and the minions for so long its refreshing to actually see a worth-it movie with effort and passion put into it and one last thing, the sequel? EVEN BETTER than the og, it made me cry fr, Calloway IS a grumpy old man but i think Ash found herself a father figure, or what Rosita and Gunther have
I think Gunther and Rosita are more either spiritual siblings, or perhaps even separated at birth siblings, that's just the vibe they give off to me, and when they act/sing together their performances are so much better.
I love how these two movies are made!! The first movie literally shows how they start. The hardships they had to go through just so they can be heard The second movie shows the hardships of rejection and making it big You can see how much the makers worked on each character. Giving them good stories on both movies. These two movies are just well made! I don’t get tired of them 😁😁😁

The sequel was somehow better as I wasn’t fond of the mouse nonsense. Rosita and her husband got even cuter in the next one. Gunter is awesome always!
