This isn't bad by any means, I can see you tried to sync up the clips with the music and that's great. I would have gone with a different anime however, there's plenty of alt wwii anime out there. Nevertheless, great job on your first.

@@Lucas-Stl Off the top of my head, Izetta The Last Witch, Strike Witches season 1 and 2, Pumpkin Scissors, I think Kantai Collection counts and Azur Lane. You could use Girls Und Panzer, if you wanted to make a Future of Warfare AMV and while a movie and not an anime, people do love using First Squad. due to the Russian Winter defensive.

Bad. There are lots of better moments that will suit that track. Should be more "Last stand" scenes, more fear in the eyes of defenders, MORE EMOTIONS!!!
Should be close to the "band of brothers screaming eagles" video. There IS a lot of appropriate scenes in the GATE. I KNOW you can feel this song and make it better!
