    Running this gun stock, with PSA mags, ZERO ISSUES. Gun is overall extremely solid, especially for the price. The fact that there are issues with feeding and slides locking back with OTHER BRAND magazines doesn’t bother me. I’ll stick with my PSA mags. Who wants to run all these other weird magazines anyways? Nothing beats stock

    PSA had issues when their daggers (full/compact) came out and they've since corrected those issues and they're extremely reliable now. I would wait a year or 2 for the micros to get the same treatment.

    If you’re used to firing a bigger gun, your slide not locking back is usually an operator error.
    your firing hand thumb is most likely resting on the slide release. You may need to adjust your grip and move your firing hand thumb over or down over the support hand thumb
    Your thumb pressing against the slide will also create a double feed because you’re hanging up the slide.

    I'm not making this comment to say you DONT do this. I'm making it as a PSA
    When I got to my first duty station in the army, we had a Master Armorer who should have been a SGM 2 times over but for whatever reason chose to stay an SFC and stay in the armory, passion for gun, whatever. Any who my buddies and I would go to an off post range every weekend and he'd be there. He came over and asked if any of us had new weapon systems we've recently purchased. Some of us did, he showed us that whenever you buy a new gun, rifle or pistol, to take it apart. Wipe factory oil/lube, put in some car oil, hoppes no 9, whatever gun oil you like best. Rack the slide/charging handle around 200 times to simulate an average range day. break in the spring, let the slide shave any uneven polymer or metal that it would while you were shooting, with occasional dry fires. I've done that with every gun for the last 12 years Ive owned personal firearms and have never, over 12 different manufacturers and around 3 guns per brand. have ever had my weapon malfunction on me. the closest thing was a Canik TP9V2 that a girl I took to the range limp wristed, had a stove pipe. That procedure pre wears the springs, "mills" the slide to the polymer or metal frame for you and prevents sharp edges from causing misfires at the range. Try it out

The shield arms mags have a bad name but ETS has an absolutely terrible name in the industry. Glock OEM and PSA OEM mags I have 10 of each and have run about 1500 rounds through them, no issues. The only issues I had came yesterday with S&B 115 ball, that ammo jammed both pistols every other round. I stripped a couple mags and gave a box to the guy next to me and it worked great for them. It was jam city for me with that ammo. Otherwise the c-1 and extreme carry cut in fde have been flawless

    I have had nothing but good luck with PSAs rifles and rifle parts . HOWEVER, I have built out 3 daggers (g19) using dagger frames, aftermarket trigs and barrels , ect . Of the 3 , one is running right now . The PSA dagger can NOT be regarded as a platform . Best I can tell the tolerances are to wonky to use with other Glock compatible parts without being a huge pain . Also , one of my daggers has a dead trigger too . If you buy just a dagger , a whole gun , you probably won’t have any trouble. If you buy dagger parts as a Glock compatible platform , you most assuredly will .

    Does the PSA micro dagger have a steel/aluminum/ metal alloy magazine release or a polymer magazine release like the Glock 43x? Because if it's metal, it's going to tear up those polymer glock mags, which would cause a feed issue. If it's polymer, the shield arms mags are going to tear up the polymer catch on the magazine, which would again cause feed issues. You can only do metal to metal and polymer to polymer. With you mixing of mags, YOU might be the problem. Not the gun.

  • @stevep7346
    @stevep7346 4 месяца назад +2

    I've got some experience working on/ modifying Glocks. The way your trigger was acting in the last video, it seems like your cruciform never disengaged from your striker sear surface. As you pull the trigger back, the cruciform should drop off the ledge in the trigger housing, thereby disengaging from the striker sear surface. Instead, you could pull back as far as you wanted, as hard as you wanted, and never drop the striker. I don't think that was debris in the striker channel, because I don't think your trigger bar cruciform ever let go of the striker. Get an armorer's backplate and you should be able to see if that's what's happening. It could also be out of spec geometry on the trigger hole, trigger bar, or even something jammed in the trigger housing not letting the cruciform drop, or the actual trigger shoe could be broken/ no longer engaging with the trigger bar (I could see a cracked trigger pin hole causing this issue intermittently). This is my guess on the dead trigger issue, and doesn't have to do with your mag issues.

  • @jeremykiddy3096
    @jeremykiddy3096 4 месяца назад +1

    The sleeve is used to basically make it a smoother area for the striker to slide. As far as the glock mag issue, I would be interested to is where the mag catch is on each mag. The PSA mag be designed to sit a little lower. Or your slide is too tight against the lower.

I’m not interested in the Micro so I wouldn’t be able to give my thoughts but with the Dagger compact OEM Gmags are the way to go.

    The first 43x I did was a PSA Micro frame and an off brand slide (psa didn't have slides in stock at the time) it had the trigger not wanting to release the striker issue. It never stopped working like yours but it got progressively worse until the trigger pull was obscene. I checked the trigger bar to striker engagement and it was like 130%. I adjusted the tab and corrected the geometry. I was surprised at the Micro trigger bar metal. It's not as hard as a glock oem trigger bar. That said, after that it functioned 100% the next trip to the range. Then I installed a p80 flat trigger shoe and a ghost connector, and tightened down the slide rails on the km tactical slide. I like it enough that I bought another micro frame with the two mags to do another pistol. Have only used psa mags. Have about 10 more hours of dry fire on it.

    You aren’t supposed to use the shield arms s15 mags unless you have their mag release because it’s also metal… the oem glock mags and PSA micro mags both have polymer where the mag catch hits the mag, so with your polymer mag catch it’s plastic on plastic and fine… with the s15 mags, the more you run those metal mags through it, the more those metal mags will chew away at the plastic mag catch and start causing problems, even after you start putting other mags in because your mag catch is starting to slightly change where it isn’t holding the magazines in quite the same as it did… which will start causing issues like you’re having…
    Either replace your mag catch and only use the metal s15 mags
    Or replace with new oem plastic mag catch and only use plastic Glock or PSA mags.
    Try that and let me know if you have issues again.

But I have got a shield mag for it, too, but no issues there. Other than that, I like the feel and the way it shoots, got an Align tactical thumb rest for it, and like it more.

    PSA's AR's have better QC then Aero Precision.....
    My Experience = 11 PSA's (a few blems) 0 issues 9 Aero's 2 issues both needing complete returns for NEW serialized product and extra cost (transfer fees) + time.
    Perspective = A $450 Radical firearms complete firearm with ambidextrous safety has had less issues than %20 of the Aero's.....
    Conclusion = Quality Control is rather hit or miss with most companies. Ex. Daniel Defenses new H9 pistol Keyholeing.... unacceptable

    I wouldn't blame PSA for aftermarket parts not functioning properly. Aftermarket parts are a likely failure point with Glocks too. Clint Smith has some comments on that. Are you sure you're not pushing on the slide release when firing? A camera on the other side of the pistol would have been helpful. But it does prompt the question is it wise to save a little money on a budget pistol or just get a Glock or Walthter PDP-F.

    There is no liner in the 43/48 glocks either, I have 2 micro daggers well over 1k rounds through each swapped out trigger group in my x1 all factory c1 and carry them , only issues I have had were using sct frames but after 50rds both frames were good. Your disconnector was the problem with the trigger resetting as psa commented just like I did, a very common problem with striker guns oem glocks incuded

  • @dylanholbrook6239
    @dylanholbrook6239 4 месяца назад +2

    My micro daggers frame rails was not positioned correctly. It would not run a glock upper. I pulled measurements from a glock frame and confirmed the issue. The rails was low in relation to the locking block and trigger pack. I sent it back to psa with a detailed description of the issue, that i diagnosed with measurements. Instead of replacing thw frame, they sent it back with a micro dagger barrel. PSA doesn't care about tolerances. So if you buy one, its a roll of the dice. I did a lot of hand fitting, and mine is mint now (with all glock parts). Most people aren't capable of that, and buy a gun to function.

  • @PoisonSpyder038

    I love PSA products but their pistols are not as reliable as a Glock. They have some slight QC issues and the consistency is not there yet. One issue with a dead trigger is the connector has to be bent out a bit to fix it. Johhny Glock has an excellent video on how to fix that.
