    Most players prefer playing on real grass. Having a dome stadium with no weather elements to worry about and the luxury of playing grass as well is really a unique thing. I applaud the minds that designed this.

    0:51 when you have a retractable football field, always make sure that it is installed with a "Heavy Duty Safety Switch!"

    Did some simple math, says field averaged approx 10 feet per second (7 mph) Find that a little hard to believe. It needs to move about 400-500 feet so it should technically take less than a minute. Also you can tell by your eyes it is not moving 7 mph lol

    • @kingwacky184
      @kingwacky184 8 лет назад +8

      +Flawless Gaming I think it is suppose to be 0.7 mph and whoever posted the video entered the info incorrectly.

    • @pittman1162
      @pittman1162 8 лет назад

      Flawless Gaming well if u goes 10 yards a minute and a football field is 100 yards so that would be 100 minutes witch is 1 hour 40 minutes. If anything it would be more then 1 hour 40

  • @gKits
    @gKits 8 лет назад

    I dont get the point of that

    • @pbkayakyer
      @pbkayakyer 8 лет назад +6

      The point is that natural grass is a FAR BETTER field to play on than any astroturf field. But aside from that fact, the ultimate goal of any team is to put butts in the stands. Arizona is hot as hell and you aren't going to sell out the stadium if folks have to sit in 115 degree heat for 4 hours. So, they created the best of both worlds.

    • @Lacrossefan1213
      @Lacrossefan1213 8 лет назад

      could not have said it better myself, the advantage of a grass field for the nfl game that is inside a controlled environment in the intense arizona heat, and one that you can move outside giving you endless options for other entertainment and expidites the change over tremendously

    • @StellarFella
      @StellarFella 7 лет назад

      SUNLIGHT!!!SUNSHINE!!!SUNLIGHT!!!SUNSHINE!!!Fields remaining inside a stadium are robbed from MANY HOURS OF SUNLIGHT each day.Natural Bermuda grass needs plenty of sunlight to stay thick and healthy.Keeping the field out of harm's way OUTSIDE the stadium frees up the interior space for a whole range of alternate events that would otherwise harm the natural grass field.

    • @StellarFella
      @StellarFella 7 лет назад +7

      The University of Phoenix is not a physical campus. They are an online university only. They paid the stadium to be named after them. They do not have any sports teams. The NFL Phoenix Cardinals use the stadium to play their home games. The name Phoenix is just a coincidence.

      University of Phoenix doesn't have a football team. They are mainly an online University(Phoenix Online) with mini campuses around the US. So they absorb a lot of money because of low expenses. As a state school they have to spend it to be non profit. Most schools spend it on sports and buildings.

    Why is it that, when I see ads for the "university" of Phoenix, the Donald Trump "university" instantly comes to mind ? And, *_why don't I ever_* see billboards advertising _actual_ private (but non-profit) _universities_ like Stanford, Harvard, Caltech, Yale, USC, Columbia, MIT, Washington university, Cornell, Brown, etc. ? And why, when there are _SO MANY_ *_excellent_* public universities like UCLA, Berkeley, UT Austin, UC San Diego, etc., that we _don't EVER_ see mass-marketing by those reputable institutions ? Why don't _real_ universities put up ridiculous, lurid billboards and carry out sleazy, embarrassing marketing campaigns to flog what they're trying to sell ? Could it possibly be because about 90% of people in the U.S. understand that the non-profit _real_ universities I listed provide an invaluable public good at a relatively low cost, and 90% of the U.S. public _knows it_ and these excellent institutions _don't need_ to advertise ? Could it be because *_the difference_* between a good, public or recognized private university and things like the "university" of Phoenix are like *_the difference_* between _chicken salad_ and _chicken shit,_ and most people know that too ? And why doesn't the 10% of the U.S. population who falls for these sorts of for-profit scams know that they're being fleeced ? Are they just stupid ? Are they so stupid that they don't understand that, if they are in the lowest 10% of the U.S. population in terms of general knowledge of the world, then it wouldn't matter if they had a PhD in Physics from Caltech or an M.D. from Harvard _it wouldn't do them any good, because their stupidity would doom them to fail in life anyway ?_ Huh ? Please, somebody.... 'splain me THAT.
