Why would they? Kojima's name hasn't been removed from the original games, so why should Konami extra credit him on Master Collection which he had no involvement? And no, I am not on Konami's side :D
@@Thomas_667 George Lucas is no longer owns the Star Wars property which he created and Disney still credits him as the creator of Star Wars. Bob Cane created Batman and long after his death Warner Bros still credits Bob Cane as the creator of the Batman. Hideo Kojima is the creator of the metal gear property so it’s only appropriate and respectful to credit the creator.

I am so happy Metal Gear Solid wasn't forgotten in history and it was brought back. It may cost too much for people's liking, but it's back and I am sure these will go to discount at some point.

Normally im not a Fan of Ports like this. But I never played MGS1 and I havent played MGS2 and MGS3 since the PS2 days. So its a must buy for me
Legend say these games were written, directed, and produced by Hideo Kojima.
The minimum for old games being re-released at premium price is that they're better than emulation made by people for free who don't have access to original code. Very low-effort.
As much as i love these games i have to agree. Even the box art is weak.

Started my love of this series with some of Sons of Liberty on my friend's PS2. Watched him play Metal Gear Solid later, then played Substance on my Xbox to completion. Only ever watched a "movie" of Snake Eater. After all these years, I can finally play the rest for myself, from beginning to end.

There's apparently an unreleased Xbox 360 version laying around somewhere that is "compatible" with current gen hardware that they can and probably will use, so finger crossed 🤞🏻

I can't wait to pick up this collection set for the PS5 next and this is so awesome too! I don't think I'll probably get the PS4 version though since the PS4 is apparently digital only and I already have a PS5 now anyway. Plus, I also still like to collect physical copies of video games, so I'm planning on picking up the physical copy of this collection set for PS5. I still wonder though why the PS4 version of this is just available as a digital-only title instead whereas the PS5 version, however, is available both physically and digitally.
