About THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY Season 3:
After putting a stop to 1963’s doomsday, the Umbrella Academy return home to the present, convinced they prevented the initial apocalypse and fixed this godforsaken timeline once and for all. But after a brief moment of celebration, they realize things aren’t exactly (okay, not at all) how they left them. Enter the Sparrow Academy. Smart, stylish, and about as warm as a sea of icebergs, the Sparrows immediately clash with the Umbrellas in a violent face-off that turns out to be the least of everyone’s concerns. Navigating challenges, losses, and surprises of their own - and dealing with an unidentified destructive entity wreaking havoc in the Universe (something they may have caused) - now all they need to do is convince Dad’s new and possibly better family to help them put right what their arrival made wrong. Will they find a way back to their pre-apocalyptic lives? Or is this new world about to reveal more than just a hiccup in the timeline?

So about Reginald's deal with Allison, he ended up going through with it, but I don't think he was planning to. Because he needed 7 children to stand on the sigil which ended up being Viktor, Diego, Klaus Lila, Five and Sloane leaving Allison safe on the sidelines, he even told her to not step on the star to protect her. But the thing is, he hadn't intended for Klaus to be there, he purposefully left him behind thinking he couldn't come back with his body completely obliterated. He into Oblivion with the exact number of children he needed to complete the sigil, meaning he was planning on using Allison to power machine despite their deal.

By teaching Klaus to use his abilities to the fullest, my theory is he KNEW leaving him behind wouldn't stop him from getting through the porthole! He knew the Guardians were extremely dangerous and deadly, why risk everything by only having 7 children there to fight and or power the machine!?

Unless it's like a 5D chess move and Reg knew that if he killed Klaus, he would talk to Luther and both come back and be able to summon Luther to finish the fight?

    • @playsanuzoo
      @playsanuzoo Год назад +104

@@Barzbub He needed only 7 and he intended to use Allison to power the sigil, just as the OP said. He left Klaus behind, despite his powers. He spent too much time with him and figured he was a weakling, too flamboyant and hippie like. Yes, he could reanimate, but other than that, not a very good fighter. That is why he told him, before shoving him into oblivion he was more trouble than he was worth. The reason he limited it to seven is exactly what happened when Allison became the 8th person. An extra person would attempt to get in the way of his plans, why? Because remember the Sparrows and the Umbrellas began to look at each other as family. What do family do? They typically protect each other, and that is exactly what Allison did. She almost thwarted his plan. Almost. But he never knew Klaus would return, but he figured there wasn't much he could do about it. He told Allison not to go, not because of some moral, ethical conscience. He likely did not want the sigil to be effected if she were to interfere and she was the only one who knew his plan. He figured she would go along with it. He was wrong.

Back in season 2 I had a theory that each season represented an obsession of one of the characters. Season 1, meaning Luther, was all about the moon; Season 2, with Diego and his obsession to be a hero and save Kennedy; and now Season 3 with Alisson and her obsession to get back to her child and husband (something I predicted back then). Next season is Number 4, aka Klaus. I’m not really sure what his obsession is going to be, but considering how he completely embraced his powers, I’m guessing somewhere along those lines. This would also mean that the last season is about Viktor’s obsession (guessing we stick to the main 7), which seems a pretty good idea to finish off this series

I support the superpowered doppelganger theory bc I think Hargreeves would still let the super babies be born bc they are the power source for alien tech. He would at least need them just in case he needs to reset the timeline again.
But he wouldn't raise them himself because he has seen how he creates messed up kids that hate him.
OR this time he is able to raise them to be obedient bc he has his wife to help make them a real "family". (He might have kept Sloane as one of his kids)
If he left them to be raised by their birth parents that would explain "nice looking Ben" being on a train in Korea living the life he was meant to live. Especially bc his family originally didnt look like they wanted to sell him to Hargreeves.
I hope we finally get to hear the explanation for the Jennifer incident that killed Ben1 bc they hinted at it so much in S3 (there were sketches of Jennifer all over Ben2's bedroom but she obviously wasn't in his life bc he kept saying he has nothing and no one but the Sparrows - also the sketch of Hargreeve's alien face was in that scene but no one is talking about it...)

This might be a little unfair, but Allison clearly still had some kind of feelings for Luther. I think she had some kind of influence on the machine beyond what Reginald programmed in. To me, it looks like she wants her cake and to eat it too. She likes the idea of leaving Luther hanging on. She clearly had some jealously issues about Sloane, so I think it is entirely possible that Allison didn't carry Sloane over either as some kind of petty revenge against Luther for voting to stay behind or feeling slighted that Luther didn't come running back to her once she showed some interest in him.

She's really always the one complaining and she never apologizes unless she wants something in exchange... the way she treats Victor is so messed up... she's honestly the most selfish character I've EVER seen in a tv show... she's the only one who never gets in trouble for abusing her powers... she's always blaming Victor for being reckless with his powers in the past but she does the exact thing she's complaining about... she's honestly just annoying..
And MOST IMPORTANT!!!! She forced herself on luther by using her powers on him! That's rape... im so mad that wasn't even really talked about... i hope luther will call her out in season 4 and the others can see just how freaking messed up she is!

Is it rape or sexual assault?
I didn't like Allison even in S1 cause she never rubbed me the right way and I thought she came off as selfish from the start. That's why I thought the deal she made with Reg was that everything goes back to 'normal' meaning that all her siblings and herself are alive BUT have no powers or suspicious & messy backgrounds. Like they were given a clean slate and a chance to be average for once. Along with that, she also asked for Claire and her husband back so that she can live a normal life with them too.
The thing that led me to this theory is that when she apologised to Viktor before the vote, she said that he had to trust her because this would benefit ALL of them. Does that mean she made the deal thinking that her siblings wanted to be average too? Or maybe she knew that leaving them with powers would cause trouble for her again and disrupt her perfect life?

    Theory :
    - Reginald is an alien and had nuclear war in his planet and lost his wife. (S1EP10)
    - Reginald plans to reset a universe to be with his wife again by building a "Universe alter machine" that uses "special particles" to power it.(S3EP10)
    - Reginald release these "special particles" into humans to grow more of it.(S1EP10) The more the humans strengthen their power, the more these particles grow. That's why he kept training the kids and build the Oblivian with Sumurais to make it almost impossible. Reginald once said "One truly discovers true potential when faced near extinction" while pogo was training them. (S3EP6)
    - Reginald was simply on Earth to build Oblivian, preserve his wife on the moon, and train kids to reach full power to be extracted at Oblivian.
    - Five attempted the Oblivian more than once
    - In the 2nd last attempt , Five did not step on the star. & realised Reginald was evil & trying to alter the universe with himself having full control & impossible to defeat. So he killed Reginald & reprogrammed the machine to create a post apocalypse world where the entire umbrella gang and Reginald dies, he also build the commission to prevent anyone from stopping the apocalypse.
    - Five created the operation bunker anti-paradox incase the commission failed to stop his younger self from altering the timeline. He could at least warn young Five himself to let Kugelblits destroy the universe than to allow Reginald activate Oblivian.
    - Reginald figured Five would stop him when activating Oblivian when Five said his older self told him to not save the world. That's why Reginald killed Luther and Klaus to ensure exactly 7 ppl enter Oblivian to be occupied by the star. When Klaus revived, Reginald ensured that Five stepped on it instead of Allison (whom is stupid as hell).
    - Therefore everyone ended in the new universe, with no powers and all companies was named after Reginald.
    - Sloane did not come to the new universe as Allison only asked for her siblings to be safe. In return for convincing Umbrella to attempt Oblivian. However they might find an alternative Sloane
    - Allison will not have powers, as it will threaten Reginald's control
    Season 4 :
    - Everyone found out Reginald is evil
    - There's a glitch in the universe. As Allison killed Reginald when he hasn't completely format the universe during Oblivian.
    - The glitch helped Umbrella stop Reginald.
I'm insanely hyped for season 4

what i belive is that she's not dead though a lot of people say that. i think that she's in the same timeline as her siblings and reg. what i found weird was that when we see allison go to her 'home' she still had her wounds from before. but the rest of the family didnt and they also don't have their powers anymore. the doppelgänger theory makes sense though, but as many people have seen in other movies that include seeing another version of urself in the same timeline has caused some catastrophic events. tbh i basically have no idea where i'm going with this but season 4 better come soon!!

But Allison wasn’t standing on a star and I believe she still has her powers. Further, I suspect there is a reason it was shown those particles can move from one person to another, as between Victor and Harlan. "I can only tell you that is the Sparrow Ben you met in Season 3," he said of the post-credits scene. "It's not ghost Ben, it's not a Ben from that Umbrella timeline. It's the Ben that we met this season, it's that Ben on the train."

So her reuniting with Claire and Ray might be her ideal afterlife but at the same time since Reggie resets the universe, that's the universe that Reggie gave for Allison which means she's living in a different universe(idk) because every sibling has their wounds healed but hers is still in there so she might be really alive

One potential mistake here - the 1928 vs. 1918 scenes with Hargreeves are DEFINITELY not proof of a different timeline. In 1918 Hargreeves is in Japan at the portal making HOTEL OBLIVION - this is evidenced by all the Japanese workers and the plans that do not make any sense. This predates his 1928 entry into the US, presumably at Ellis Island. He probably built Hotel Obsidian after and created a connective tunnel between the two white buffalo rooms, but one is clearly American themed and the other is clearly Japanese themed. It makes sense that Oblivion's plans would be far more complicated since it is on the inside at least a shifting maze that cannot be left once it's built. The only real complication in Obsidian is the WB room. Also ... there is nothing to show that 1928 was his first arrival either. For all we know he could've been on earth since the paleolithic era, with his wife sitting on the moon waiting for earth to evolve enough for him to have what he needs to build the two hotels.

Problem with that Theory: Would they even be born if he didnt relese the sparks?

Theory time: What do you think would have happened if Alisson didn't kill Hargreeves in the machine?
    - My take is that just like Alisson, Reginald would have come out in this new world and his first thought would have been to search for his wife, Abigail... That's all fine and dandy, but just like Ben1 and Ben2, Abigail would have been next to her husband, Reginald1 (who would have no idea about Umbrellas, Sparrows and master plans). So this Reginald2 which would emerge from Oblivion in search of his wife would probably want to kill and replace his other self (somehow also explaining or tricking Abigail that it's all fine). Yeah... would have been a head scracher.
    - But he could have also ended up in another timeline if we believe that Allison is now in another timeline (with her powers intact and bandage on her arm). Then maybe Hargreeves would have been in that separate timeline. If so... why would he want that? Is there something special there? Is Abigail also there? Probably "Yes" if we believe he 'programed' this reality to get what they've always wanted.
    - Also would Allison make it back if she was neither in the machine nor on a bell/star at the end? Remember Hargreeves said "Not you" when she wanted to step on a bell, which would imply one of two things: 1. Standing on a bell gets you a different outcome or 2. The dastardly alien planned his death (or at least Allison's intervention) all along. He told her NOT to stand on a bell, because he needed her not to be drained and frail so that she could intervene to press the button in the cockpit.
    - I'm basically trying to piece together the apparently 3 separate places that one could stand on and where they take it/what they do:
    1. Inside cockpit - maybe a programmed timeline;
    2. On the stars/bells - in a world where Abigail never died, therefore no need to impregnate women with special alien dust and just expand the Hargreeves business;
    3. Anywhere else in the hotel - no idea, but probably not important as it's maybe the same as number 2 (on the stars/bells)
    - Or maybe NONE of these are different and it's just what Hargreeves programmed into the machine so it wouldn't matter where they stood, their "jump" would have been programmed. So it wouldn't have mattered WHO pressed the button at the end. The script would have been written.
    What are you thoughts?

He loved right remind me of the theory from somebody else on RUclips said about the umbrella Academy, that number five was in fact, Reginald Hargreaves, kinda like how Dumbledore and Ron Weasley are the same person since Reginald Hargreaves is a genius he might’ve discovered the power of travel since he knew about it explaining the creation of the commission but of course that was washed up after seeing season three but then again, you might have a point although the sparrow timeline said he didn’t have any memories of the umbrellas by chance, it could just be him watching over the events of history with a machine that keeps an eye in anomalies but then again, if he did have the power of travelers disposal, and maybe he was watching the events from different points of time and different timelines that might also explain why he was able to plan things out so thoroughly why he was able to build his wealth to

    1. He killed luther obviously to gather them. The marriage was part of the plan since they are the center of attention before the world ends. Killing him is a wise choice.
    2. Killing Klaus because he knew he can comeback. That was the purpose of his extensive training. Will used Sloane for revenge to convince her to enter the portal. Then Klause to summon Luther in the event that Sloane have second thoughts again.
    3. He knew Five will never trust him, Allison was only a bait because he knew Five will never leave his siblings and will always take the decision part which was the scene during the 7 bells/stars.
    4. Ben was resurrected in order for Umbrella and Sparrows to have one thing in common. Ben was used as an emotional bait.
    5. Allison, was destined to reset the universe so she wont lose her powers. Sparrows was not part of the resurrection because they came from a different timeline. They might have been resurrected to a different one. Ben will stay, as the sparrow ben was the same ben from umbrella but character was modified to attract attention from his siblings.
    6. Allison, will be an accomplice in the new universe. Her ability to manipulate the minds of the people will be of big asset for Reginald. Meanwhile, academy main heroes lose their powers and doesnt have a chance fighting against Allison.
    7. There will be another characters in the new season, remember the illuminaties? They will come looking for Reginald to assasinate.
    8. UA heroes will regain their powers again by learning it just like what Reg did to Klaus to protect Reginald and his wife.
    9. Sloane is pregnant from other dimension and absorbed the energy of the alternate universe. The baby will become the Yin while Lila is the Yang.
    10. Another saving the world story

You know Hargreaves found the door to oblivion, had the hotel(s) constructed to hide its existence and knows there is an extra-dimensional universe building machine there, but that does not mean he is the creator/builder or even knew how the machine worked in the first place. Whenever it shows the flashback scene of Hargreaves originally sending that military team into oblivion to try and defeat it, this shows that he did not know what he was doing, rather just throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks. At that time he didn't emphasize there having to be 7 people for the sigil which suggests that Hargreaves had to learn and develop a plan and possibly many plans till one worked. Fast-forward to season 3 end and not only does Hargreaves know the need of 7 powered people but also how to work the machine, which suggests this is not his first reset and he has possibly been working on this conclusion for quite some time, with the ultimate goal being a new world where his wife can live and where he can set up the events to lead to this circumstance (but honestly with a universe building machine, seems like you would be able to create whatever possible version of the universe you wanted without consequences)

So either he, or Alison, when restting, just reset the Umbrella Academy. Which includes Ben but neither would necessarily go to the trouble of returning a 12 year old into a thirty year old's body when they had one. So, she either doesn't exist, has lived her normal life because her powers are such that she can keep them quiet. Or if the Commission existed, she might have been wiped out or recruited. Like, she could be the Handler's daughter this time around.

Because everyone lost their tattoos, does that mean five won’t complete the loop because he no longer has Pogos tattoo?

He has his arm now too... he could still complete the loop though just with slightly different circumstances. We've seen that happen before.
