The first 12 mins made me feel like she stayed around to be chosen. He ran through the girls and kept her around even had her on the phone calls. That should’ve been her first sign. The foundation was already interesting. Glory be to God they still together and fighting the fight.

This episode made me question if I really wanna be married. And I honestly do want to be. But as a 45 year old single woman, my life is peaceful 😌. Marriage can potentially come with stress, mess and drama. I really do desire marriage and I will have a God ordained marriage ❤✝️🙌🏾
At times I feel the same. I’m 46 and love where God has me and I’m content and at peace.
You have the benefit of being more secure and affirmed in who you are. So the seeking process may be challenging but the one you’ll find will also be firm in their own self. We were in our early 20s and our hearts, bodies, and boundaries were like cartilage.
I say, live in that peace. Keep that nervous system REGULATED and continue to walk in your purpose for this season. Like David did after he was anointed. Go on back there and count them sheep. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I'm going on 44yrs old single & no children & I desired marriage etc but these past few months Idk what I want. I have no clue on what my future looks like. I'll just leave it to GOD because I just don't know, see or feel it!
These episodes are so healing. I feel so unloved by God in this season. Anyone ever felt that they are not fathered by God? That he treats you like an orphan. This is my season, and little by little, these last 2 episodes are bringing me comfort. Good job, sir. God bless.
To God be the Glory. I am grateful to be connected to something that comforts your heart and reminds you of God’s love and care for you. Even in this season.
I have never felt this way but I imagine that it is painful beyond words. I have however felt deeply disappointed by God and that pain stung incredibly. By His grace, I made it to the other side.
My prayer for you is that you know that whatever you are feeling in this season is okay. I pray that you find the strength to keep believing. Praying that He multiplies your peace and brings comfort to you on your journey. Hang in there Love. 🙏

I see a lot of people commenting on when the husband keep saying mistake. However, I think using the word mistake is so common that we have not normalized saying we made a bad choice. However, we need to normalize admitting we make bad choices vs making mistakes🤷🏽♀️

Postpartum depression is Real. It's great they shared their story and are going therapy.
My therapist is my new confidant. It is what I was missing back then. I vent to the professional safe space.

I long for the day when Black Kingdom citizens are so committed to Love, marriage and family that cheating is no longer the "go to." It's like trying to fix a disaster by creating a catastrophe. Cheating is so Dam-aging to a marriage!! Who brainwashed folks into making cheating the always "go to?" Grateful for the healing this couple achieved. Come on my people-- can we please stop hurting one another!! Others have done enough harm to us. We surely don't need to keep damaging one another.
I Absolutely agree. So many factors lead to that. And the two biggest are lack of integrity and lack of discipline. These are the areas I work on daily. And that’s why I’m committed to sharing my story and redirecting young brothers AWAY from my choice. Thank you for voicing a big picture view of this historically common issue.

What’s funny is. I’m the talker of the two. But watching this. You wouldn’t know. You’re spot on. It’s a reminder of God’s grace and the work it took her to forgive. And NOW I know how to respond to that without guilting myself to death.

This episode was amazing and also triggering for me. I have dealt with infidelity, newly divorced and healing from it with therapy and prayer. I’m really working on changing my mindset on infidelity to give grace but Lord it’s hard especially when it’s more than once. A good friend of mine said to me early while I was married “Some people mess up and some people are messed up”. My prayer is that the mess up of infidelity is done in their union because I really feel that they have a great restoration going on in their union. This also helps me to see why abstinence before marriage is so important because if you don’t train yourself to wait, when that test comes, it’s a high possibility we will fail.

Ohh my goodness!! I joined this in the middle somehow and I am so thankful this woman survived child birth!!! Black women have been receiving sub par treatment in hospitals..it's terrible
As a black maternal health advocate, I hear you! It’s is an ongoing problem in the health industry that needs fixing. But I know many who are on the front lines making things happen for us!
It took me 2 days to finish this episode because of interruptions, but this episode blessed me as a single woman.. Omg im literally in tears. I experienced two miscarriages during the beginning of our marriage. I can relate to everything that they have experienced in their marriage. However, my husband wasn't nor had the server spirit. This is a hard one for me to work and listen to. I love that they are holding each other hands
It’s a hard space for both parties. I definitely had to learn that we grieved very differently. He held me up, but there were still some tough moments. Loving on you and your angel babies.

Wow, July 21st (completion & restoration) is my son's 10th birthday. He's my rainbow baby and has special needs (epilepsy, asthma, and autism). It's a struggle he was hospitalized in December and February. He's a fighter like me!
