    I couldn't agree more with you, Mike.
    I don't watch those videos that say "Stop using this...or use bussines English"
    To communicate English effectively, we need simple words that can express simple, and deep meanings. Instead of impressing others by using big words, just speak simply and clearly. If not people will think you are boring or even fool when you don't use those idioms, or big words in the right way.
    As well, I will keep learning idioms and more vocabulary, so I will be able to understand what I hear, read and watch.
    Thanks a lot, Mike. I feel happy and lucky to have you as our Super Teacher.😊😊😊

    I couldn't agree more with you, Mike. Speaking simple and clear is the best choice to communicate with others well, so they will get us easily.
    I don't want to impress others. I just want to understand people and to be understood.
    Learning idioms is useful to improve our English skills, and to understand movies.
    You explain the things so clear like water that your lessons are amazing and wonderful. That's why I like to call you our Super Teacher, Mike. Thanks a lot.😊😊

They complicate it so much . They forget that they had actually started learning a language so that they are able to communicate well.

However as you said, it's good to know about them, because I'm able to realise them during a conversation. So technically it's useful, otherwise it's not necessary to use them in normal communication.
    I finally calm down and I'm focusing on my basic vocabulary. 😊

    Hello teacher Mike thanks for the vedio but one question in here people say for an American accent we got to make our sound deeper and lauder just like Arnold schwazenger or Brad Pitt or sylvester stallone or the other old people do you think that is right? Do I need to have a deep and laud voice to sound more like native?

    • @TeacherMikeEnglish
      @TeacherMikeEnglish  Год назад +3

      You definitely don't need to.
      However, if you come from a country where people speak in a very high pitch, you will probably want to make it just a little bit deeper.
      By the way, Arnold Schwarzenegger does not have an American accent. He was born in Austria.

We may not sound like a native speaker and yet as long as we get our message across...what's the problem? We shouldn't feel ashamed of expreessing our thoughts in the way we think it is the right way....How many Americans dare learn Spanish and try to communicate in the languiage?! Will they sound foreign to us? Sure, they will:...and yet the important thing is to really appreciate their effort to communicate in a foreign language as long as communication is not affected.
