Can't believe these arent more popular, advenute-exploration docs like these are peaking again in popularity, these are crazy well done too with respect to local cultures
David Adams is simply great.
Who needs the myth, this is superb travelogue including a cool Dnepr outfit.
What a cute idea to have a marsupial reenact ancient European myths!
Did they tell you that people really used fleeces for a gold trap in their sleuce boxes?.
Yes they did sometimes without even a box around them
I could watch these over and over!!, so interesting!!🙋♀️🙅♀️🙆♀️🖖
Great documentary. The video glitched a wee bit around the 45 minute mark, but I don't know if it was the upload or the master copy. Nonetheless, it was short lived and didn't take away from the enjoyment.
I very much enjoy these, his other program on the ancient seas that connected the ancient folk was wonderful as well.
Random click and here I am. Thoroughly enjoyable. Really enjoyed it.
the Journeys to the Ends of the Earth series was originally broadcast on the DiscoveryChannel
Always entertaining, eye-opening, and inspiring narrative in motion. Great piece of work!
Superb documentary
Happy to see Pagans in the Caucasus countryside. 🧙♀️
So did you hit it off with the lady who helped you?😄
I love this show and his series. But I don’t quite get following Jason and the Argonauts. It’s still fun. They did a fairly good job to make a fun show. But a lot looked pretty set up. That’s cool. The culture and place is striking.
I love this video so many memories of things I seen great work on this 1
Good job, thank you
0:40 Nobody ever defeated Alexander the Great. Look it up if you don't believe it.
Agree. Hell some people argue that Afghanistan (or the now region of it) defeated him. Alexander defeated them and turned it into a Greek cultural state that lasted centuries.
@@Mirokuofnite Yep. I've said this before; he's not called Alexander the Very Nearly Great.

Colchis had been part of the Persian Empire but Alexander it seems bypassed it preferring to head east
Dnepr (Ukrainian: Дніпро) is a motorcycle brand produced in Kyiv, Ukraine. It has been in use since 1967.
He crossed Azerbaijan without one remark that they are Turkish. What I got out of this is: Baku has oil and mafia. He should have started his journey in bogazici and made stops along the Anatolian coast of the Black Sea at cities like Samsun, Giresun, Trabzon. He would have found much proof of Jason’s journey.
As a Georgian, watching this dude refer to our country as "A no man's land at the edge of the earth" is so SO FUNNY. My brother in Christ, this land, which is smack dab in the middle of the largest continent, has been populated for forever. What are you talking about.
Amen in ancient Sumerian language actually originally meant "keep it secret".
The whole fake I found an interpreter is condescending… but other than that good vid
Colchis, ancient Georgia 🇬🇪
I hate staged incidents @3:35 (Why would he write "For Sale" on the back part of that cardboard, if he doesn´t speak English and waits till David Adams gives a hint with his fingers) and @3:53 (woman filmed before she supposedly joins the conversation by accident) and *then lying about it* @3:55 ("...when suddenly and unexpectedly..."). Very unlikeable that person.
lol it was just done in spirit of recreating a bit of the quest for the golden fleece
I absolutely agree, just silly they pretended it was by accident. Gee the lady might have been a waitress and didn't know the history. The bike was incredible, no issues there eh!!!!!! Oh well it was very interesting. Cheers Rosemary Perth Western Australia (71 yrs)
Hi 👋
Just looks so much made up and pre-arranged from the start... it discouraged me from further viewing.
👍
This is what the world used to be. Just a white man going on adventure with an attractive local woman at his side. Never forget what they took from us.
Used to be died.
Sorry.
Not sorry.
I forgot ?
Too many mistakes in this one for me.
Nick off with your 'history hit' ads! RUclips already subjects us to ads. How much more money do you need? New bubble tops all round...
I got fed up with ads a year or so ago. I now pay monthly. Yeah, I know, sacked in to paying. But it is the best thing I ever did. Jo ads on here for me at all. RUclips Premium is less than a night out and will last you a month.
@@chrisbentleywalkingandrambling No, they can stick it. It's just greed...
Fast forwarding is a thing.
@@bigbensarrowheadchannel2739 So is rampant commercialism...
