Great documentary. The video glitched a wee bit around the 45 minute mark, but I don't know if it was the upload or the master copy. Nonetheless, it was short lived and didn't take away from the enjoyment.

I love this show and his series. But I don’t quite get following Jason and the Argonauts. It’s still fun. They did a fairly good job to make a fun show. But a lot looked pretty set up. That’s cool. The culture and place is striking.

Agree. Hell some people argue that Afghanistan (or the now region of it) defeated him. Alexander defeated them and turned it into a Greek cultural state that lasted centuries.

He crossed Azerbaijan without one remark that they are Turkish. What I got out of this is: Baku has oil and mafia. He should have started his journey in bogazici and made stops along the Anatolian coast of the Black Sea at cities like Samsun, Giresun, Trabzon. He would have found much proof of Jason’s journey.

As a Georgian, watching this dude refer to our country as "A no man's land at the edge of the earth" is so SO FUNNY. My brother in Christ, this land, which is smack dab in the middle of the largest continent, has been populated for forever. What are you talking about.

I hate staged incidents @3:35 (Why would he write "For Sale" on the back part of that cardboard, if he doesn´t speak English and waits till David Adams gives a hint with his fingers) and @3:53 (woman filmed before she supposedly joins the conversation by accident) and *then lying about it* @3:55 ("...when suddenly and unexpectedly..."). Very unlikeable that person.
