Anyone know what happened to that $2 trillions? I thought with that money spent, companies are supposed to keep their employees in their payrolls. People are getting that extra $600 a week to stay home. Why are there over 30 million people unemployed, millions of people are refusing to paid rents or mortgages, thousands of cars line up at food banks?
Well for one, a big chunk of that $2 trillion was for big companies and that had no requirements for them to keep their employees. The $250(?) billion I think it was; that was for the small businesses and had some loopholes that allowed those same big companies to get those loans and therefore the small companies also had to lay off workers. In the end. It's only really the $1,200 one time check to working people that actually got put to use.
