Wanting to sail and being able to sail is driven by what sails you have onboard. On OliLuki we have our optional Code 0 lite wind sail which in the beginning we were nervous to use. Three years into our sailing adventures we use our Code 0 regularly and we love it! It allows us to still sail when winds are just too lite for our main sail and Genoa. There’s nothing better than hearing the wind and the water as OliLuki sails on to our next destination!

So which one is faster, the Code 0 or the Oxley?

The Oxley by far! The Code 0 does really well in winds 12 knots or less. A Code D might get closer to the performance of the Oxley but I don’t think it will have the flexibility the Oxley does.

Everyone always seems to be in a good mood and happy about everything. I love that!! Unlike most of the other cruisers that seem to complain alot about everything. It's really refreshing to watch a family enjoy being together. The world needs more of this!!

Thanks James! We are grateful for being able to do this together. As far as the work, repairs, maintenance…..it’s simply a part of the journey. It builds character, allows all of us to learn and do more and makes us a stronger better crew!
