My advice - don't ask them how much the car is, rather tell them how much you have in your budget - let them come down to your budget rather than them calling the shots.
@@atobee2595 That's if you tell them how much you are willing to pay monthly. Give them the max you'll pay for the car itself, not the monthly installment.

With the electricity thing Eskom uses an increasing block charge. For the first block (600 kWh) they charge a set price( e.g., R1.50 per kWh) for the next block (600 kWh) the price is higher (e.g., R2.00). If you bought 500 kWh at the beginning of the month and you want to top up middle of the month buy just the 100 kWh left over. If you buy more Eskom will charge you the higher price for all of Units. I explained this badly but hopefully it makes sense. Also the numbers are just for example purposes not what is really charged.
Good advice-the system is called IBT ( Incline Block Tariff), basically is a way of punishing for higher electricity consumption. Is supposed to favour the poor but is not simply because Mzansi people are wasteful in general. From next year April, The IBT Will fallout & Homeflex will be implemented. A tariff based on Time of use.Homeflex give users the opportunity to be efficient, in simple terms. Yes, electricity will never be cheap again, that’s what Musa is saying. Great work Musa❤
@@thusomahlatji6268 Put simply, Homeflex is based on time of use(TOU), with three type of electricity tarrifs,1. Off-peak ( lowest),standard tariff,& peak tariffs( most expensive & only applicable during weekdays, except for holidays) For instance, if u are going to run your geyser during peak hours(17:00-21:00), you will pay for that consumption at peak tariff as compared to Off-peak like between 21:00-05:00. This applies to week days, as weekend there are no peak tariffs.Added to this consumption tariffs, you are goi g to pay fixed amount for using the infrastructure, let’s call it connection fee. U can do nothing about fixed charges but u can do a lot ( optimise)about consumption to reduce bills. Bottom line, electricity will never be cheap again
If u buy electricity of R600 you fall from the 3rd block not first block. The higher the amount the lesser the units. First block start with (0-50) rand.
