As Jerry Seinfeld once said: “Looking at cleavage is like looking at the sun. You don't stare at it. It's too risky. Ya get a sense of it and then you look away.”
I miss the Drunk Tank. The people(geoff and griffon) definitely, but also the set. Not that the current one isn't really nice and well put together, but this is so much less complex and it's just relaxed. Way more of a "group of friends hanging out drinking beer" sort of feel.
+Trapper Welton I think thats why they have Off Topic now. so they can have the normal Rooster Teeth podcast and be professional but with Off Topic they can have the Drink a beer with friends and relaxed podcast.
There may not be strategy to their kind of fishing (drinking and sitting around on a boat with a pole) but there is strategy of fishing when you're actually looking to catch fish lol
Rewatching these first video podcasts. Was really happy the line up was Burnie, Gus, Griffon, and Geoff. But after the break I was disappointed when Burnie was replaced by Jack. Though Jack is a little more tolerable in the early Video Podcasts, I wanted Burns to stick the whole way through. Oh well.
I totally forgot about that whole Rapture thing that was supposed to happen. Turns out that it didn't happen yet, and in response to their discussion at the beginning, God forgives a lot, so it's never too late as long as you're alive. I will say that as a Christian, I do get annoyed when someone makes a stupid claim like they know when the Rapture is going to happen. They clearly haven't read that part of their Bible.
The biggest part in a healthy happy relationship is trust and openness with your significant other. Geoff and Griffon trust each other and because of that they can be open about anything without fear that the other is unfaithful or has second thoughts about their relationship.
Gosh I love Griffon and Geoff!! They're sitting there talking about hot girls with such casualty when some guys would be like all dumb about it. They have the best relationship.
yeah, this past summer, I went on a trip to Cimarron, New Mexico. We drove and the trip was about 8-12 hours driving one way, and all but the last hour or so was in Texas.
There was a tornado once when I lived in Hershey. THAT was unexpected and weird. I was a kid and the tornado was unexpected enough that they had to put us on a bus during it to a safer building. The bus driver couldn't see in front of him and we could see the funnel forming out the window. There was a ton of younger children screaming-crying. It was scary.
okay geoff this story is for you. when i was hunting with my dad we were staying out all day, so during the middle of the day we decided to take a break so then we both ended up falling asleep. this is in like the edges of a marsh not wet but tall grass. so while i was sleeping i suddenly felt something slide across my neck very slowly. i was on my back so i never saw it. the funny part of it is that i was so tired i didnt even care that a nake just slithered over my neck.
no but the temperature increase specifically in forest areas lead to increasingly dryer conditions which would make small brush fires that a few decades ago were cake because forests have cold and wet fucking weather are now furnaces. i live in the springs and i had to evacuate twice, these conditions where the fire thrived(which is everywhere) were not present even a few years ago
Actually Griffon is pronouncing "Braunschweig" really well :D And the name of the town Jägermeister is from is "Wolfenbüttel" which is like 10 km in the south of Braunschweig. I'm from there and it's beautiful :D I'm so proud that they're mentioning my region ^_^
I want an old school podcast soon, with Geoff Griffon and Jack, but full beard Jack, also a full roundtable podcast with the founders (aka Burnie, Geoff, Matt, Joel and Gus) And the new school, like Gavin, Michael, Ray, Ryan, Kerry, Chris, Monty, this would be amazing!!!
Griffon is right that in Minnesota its exetremly hot and cold but it doesn't snow for 9 months out of the year. it snows 3 months maybe 4-5 months out of the year. but we have Fall, winter, summers, and spring. there's your Minnesota fact. :)
Texas really is huge, I'm from Southern Texas and it takes a good six hours to get ANYWHERE worth being. Most road trips are 90 % waiting to leave texas.
Bring this group back for ONE podcast please !
Eric Cabrera Griffon and Geoff are now divorced...
@@bluemcdaniel99 oof
Being new(ish) to watching Rooster Teeth and Achievement Hunter it's insane to see how different Jack looked back then compared to now.
As Jerry Seinfeld once said: “Looking at cleavage is like looking at the sun. You don't stare at it. It's too risky. Ya get a sense of it and then you look away.”
Unless you're wearing a pair of sunglasses.
Matthew Braida Good point.
This was the first RT podcast ever watched. I basically remember going "oh this is where the AAs come from"
Oh the sweet voice of Geoff in the podcast...
Burnie was talking about Scotland back then too
Omg Geoff is my absolute favorite and Griffin is super cute, and those tattoos though...love em
"Vultures pick off the weak"
"Actually they just eat the dead"
"Ok so the really weak"
I laughed so hard
Griffon: "Moving to Iowa would be great and all, but then you get there, and you're in Iowa."
I miss the Drunk Tank. The people(geoff and griffon) definitely, but also the set. Not that the current one isn't really nice and well put together, but this is so much less complex and it's just relaxed. Way more of a "group of friends hanging out drinking beer" sort of feel.

shunkaha Okay, what is it in faggothiet and I'll do the conversion myself?
Hawker9317
i think you mean freedomhiet and in minnesota we can reach temperatures of up to 120 freedoms.
Geoff is smooth as shit
Griffon grew up around where I live. This just made my day.
"I believe in climate change." - Burnie Burns. Fast forward 3 years and he now drives a Tesla; good guy Burnie.
Anyone who doesn't believe in climate change is a dumbass
Breaking Bad stole the idea of Walter White from Gus!!!!! 31:52
ScottyBoy843 I was being sarcastic. I know Breaking Bad first aired in 2008.
TheGamingFunky Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure
Hayden Jeffcoat Of course I knew it first aired in 2008 because I was sitting in my room watching it then
TheGamingFunky I repeat my previous suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure
Crazy to think their marriage really was on the rocks.
Thanks for the shoutout to my city, Nacogdoches, Geoff Ramsey at 8:08. I hope y'all do another East Texas event soon.
Geoff is so cute!
Rewatching these first video podcasts. Was really happy the line up was Burnie, Gus, Griffon, and Geoff. But after the break I was disappointed when Burnie was replaced by Jack.

I love watching old podcasts over and over again =]
Griffon is very pretty i must say
The noes ring bro the noes ring
I totally forgot about that whole Rapture thing that was supposed to happen. Turns out that it didn't happen yet, and in response to their discussion at the beginning, God forgives a lot, so it's never too late as long as you're alive.

the sludge in the bottom is called beeswing.
Griffon is a beautiful woman... But that nose ring scares me o_o
Yes it does
Who else is watching this in 2010?
Obviously not you
Geoff is lucky to have a wife like Griffin
yes Geoff is Lucky to have Griffon she is awesome but Millie is even more lucky to have them as parents
I'd say the other way around. Geoff is one incredibly kind, interesting and awesome dude.
Lol
I prefer these podcasts so much more than the newer ones.
Sailboating is really chill and would love to do it when I'm old.
I love Marshal on the camera shaking it up and down as if responding to Griffon. XD
OMG. They mentioned Joplin and I was like "Oh yeah, that was close, pretty bad."
Then they said Branson and I crapped myself. I live there.
The biggest part in a healthy happy relationship is trust and openness with your significant other. Geoff and Griffon trust each other and because of that they can be open about anything without fear that the other is unfaithful or has second thoughts about their relationship.
thank you Burnie, for standing up for Iowa.
I love when Gus just bends down and gets a bottle opener
I could listen to Gus all day!
Gosh I love Griffon and Geoff!! They're sitting there talking about hot girls with such casualty when some guys would be like all dumb about it. They have the best relationship.
seeing griffin and geoff sitting next to each other is like looking at one giant arm of tattoos lol
yeah, this past summer, I went on a trip to Cimarron, New Mexico. We drove and the trip was about 8-12 hours driving one way, and all but the last hour or so was in Texas.
That Gus thing stares straight down your soul.
Watching the drunk tank drunk, so much better
when Jeff said 'I thought that was Denver' i almost died
There was a tornado once when I lived in Hershey. THAT was unexpected and weird. I was a kid and the tornado was unexpected enough that they had to put us on a bus during it to a safer building. What podcast is the animated adventure at 39:30 from?
okay geoff this story is for you. when i was hunting with my dad we were staying out all day, so during the middle of the day we decided to take a break so then we both ended up falling asleep. this is in like the edges of a marsh not wet but tall grass. so while i was sleeping i suddenly felt something slide across my neck very slowly. i was on my back so i never saw it. the funny part of it is that i was so tired i didnt even care that a nake just slithered over my neck.
5:02 looked up at the screen, saw the gus cut out and laughed my ass off
intro music was "still alive" for the credits of portal.
Fastest blind person to complete an Iron Man...Mad props!
for the record, it only snows for for around 6 months out of the year, rains for 3, and nice for the last 3
no but the temperature increase specifically in forest areas lead to increasingly dryer conditions which would make small brush fires that a few decades ago were cake because forests have cold and wet fucking weather are now furnaces. i live in the springs and i had to evacuate twice, these conditions where the fire thrived(which is everywhere) were not present even a few years ago
im straight and i love roosterteeth.
watching this video almost exactly six years later.
The grey in Burnie's beard makes it look like he has a permanent milk mustache lol
I agree with Geoff. I live in east Texas and I have been to Austin. It is a new world.
that last gus story about the guy cleaning his windshield should be animated.
Glad you're enjoying it, and I can't seem to remember either...
Geoff: I wanna get into fishing. Me: FIIIIIIIISSHH!!!!!!!
ok, i had it paused as soon as the song ended so didnt realise burnie says where he says it, but stillthanks
I live in Minnesota... It does NOT snow 9 months a year! It actually has a storm every few weeks during summer.
He has the best family, job, and friends.
I live in Minnesota. And Mini, MN (minneapolis, mn) almost never has storms in general like thunderstorms and a tornado is very odd...
Dude Jack's cool. The boating thing sounds awesome.
Minnesota has hot summers and the past few years the winter has not been that cold
I lived in Longview Texas for a while, nice place, tons of pine trees...
Pine trees suck, I love these oaks here in Georgia
it's weird watching this knowing that Jack will get married in the next 2 years.
listen to these podcast on 0.5 speed, its makes them sound even more drunk.
The sleaziest bird is easily the seagull. They're like the homeless people you find in seaside towns of the bird world
The next Wednesday after that storm I was freaking out from the siren tests
Branson Shout out hell yea. Haha glad Joplin's restored now.
I had no idea Griffon is from Oregon, that's awesome
I want an old school podcast soon, with Geoff Griffon and Jack, but full beard Jack, also a full roundtable podcast with the founders (aka Burnie, Geoff, Matt, Joel and Gus) And the new school, like Gavin, Michael, Ray, Ryan, Kerry, Chris, Monty, this would be amazing!!!
Burnie karate chops mic and shout's oopp's. Well done.
hey can you guys fix the problem where the video stops playing around 20:10
Anyone else watching old Podcasts because they miss Geoff? And Griffin too *Drool*
as someone who works at a movie theater it's weird to hear them talk about all those movie that were "coming out"
Has Gus' story there at the end really not been made into an animated adventure? That'd be perfect.
From an objective point of view, Geoff and Griffon are probably the coolest couple in history.
I love the part when Griffon looks Jack like I love you so muts
THANK YOU GOD SOMEONE ELSE FEELS MY PAIN WITH 3D MOVIES
Sometimes, when I get lonely I nod when I watch these podcasts so I feel like i'm popular.
i live in minnesota.. and we have tornados/ tornado warnings all of the time in the summer!
LOL at 15:22 "so what's it like to be in a triathalon...OOPS...at a triathalon..."
Ah, the humble beginnings of Jacks beard...
this is the first one ive seen where geoff and griffin sit next to each other lol
Griffon is right that in Minnesota its exetremly hot and cold but it doesn't snow for 9 months out of the year. it snows 3 months maybe 4-5 months out of the year. but we have Fall, winter, summers, and spring. there's your Minnesota fact. :)
Cardboard Gus... I could not stop watching you... :)
At 28:53 there is someone's reflection in the whiteboard behind Geoff's left shoulder and I just can't make out who it is. Any Ideas?
Looking at the most recent podcasts with Jack....then watch this....THAT BEARD!
Texas really is huge, I'm from Southern Texas and it takes a good six hours to get ANYWHERE worth being. Most road trips are 90 % waiting to leave texas.
lol..here's a question for you...how many seasons of red vs blue were on machinima./com?
They should do more video podcasts
Griffon pronounces german words pretty good, was spot on with Braunschweig
