It is a part of the show, a segment planned and executed in the finale as a parody about the show & its people. And that is how we roll here. We make fun of ourselves and are a family. Our regular audience knows this well.

It all started with GP & Pearle singing cover for the famous song 'Onnam Rangam Paadi'. Pearle couldn't hit the high notes and the judges made fun of GP & Pearle. As a challenge the content team decided to make a segment in the grand finale where GP & Pearle make fun of the judges and themselves. It was planned that the audience would receive it negatively. At this time the judges would bring in Sreejith Vijay to replace GP & Pearle for their 'kuruthamketta' performance. The final segment would show them releasing cover for the Sunona Sangmarmar, where their performance gets appreciated and all ends well.
However, all this was missed out in the viral posts that spread over social media and it was touted as an attempt made by GP & Pearle to become the next pop stars. However, it is not so. They showed guts in taking on this act and are such good sports. Along with this video, we would like to convey that this was not an album that flopped, but was released as a flop album as a part of the show.
