    Are you guys comparing this with the XC60 T8's air suspension? Because don't they all have the same type of mechanical suspension now? CKD doesn't come with the air suspension

      Thanks for clarifying, but either way, for enthusiastic driving, I'd still pick the T5 over the T8.

    For T5... do you think FWD is worth getting? Thanks bro.
    Bcuz in Singapore, AWD is only offered in T6 model

    Very honest review from you guys......I'm seriously looking at XC60T5 (Pre-Owned), I do alot of Bukit Mertajam-KL-JB runs. I will definitely change to T5Rims(Used)/Pirelli Tyres. Doe Volvo comes with 5 years FREE Service?

    Really, t5 still come with pilot assist?

    I happened to test XC60 T8, the 407 PS power delivery was way too immediate for a NA engine driver like me. 🤣

      @KonWaiLuen  6 лет назад +1

      You may then prefer the less immediate grunt of the T5. Haha.

    • @KonWaiLuen
      @KonWaiLuen  6 лет назад

      Yeah, we were told that based on current price structure, no way to get the T6 below the T8's price point.

    Bro Kon, Taiwan have a XC60 T6 Inscription. Why Volvo M'sia don't have it? You are right to mention there is a market for it...Keep Up the good work.

    • @KonWaiLuen
      @KonWaiLuen  5 лет назад

      It's pricing. The T8 and T5 are separated by a RM30k price gap, meaning there is very little room to squeeze a T6 in between. Hypothetically, would you choose a T6 at the same trim as the T5, but at the T8's price?

    I’m just worried of the reliability and after sales...

    • @jdfd4906
      @jdfd4906 6 лет назад

      Hariharan Krishnan just buy the 5yr service pack when getting the car, it cost less than 10k RM for a hassle free first 5 years. As for after sales, there are far fewer Volvo’s than Mercedes and BMW volume wise in m’sia so the 4S centres should not have any issue coping with the cars.

      I owned a new volvo for 12 years, new bmw for 6 years and new merc for 2 years. In total, the merc went in for a major repair twice, BMW once and the volvo once. Don't worry buddy

      @grey71644 6 лет назад +1

      im not kon but i suggest toyota harrier due to the space provided compared to xc40 and xc60 ..cheers!

    • @jdfd4906
      @jdfd4906 6 лет назад +1

      If u prioritise value, get the harrier.
      “ safety, get the xc60. Xc40 is ugly and small imo.

      Is AWD (volvo) more stable during Heavy Rain? I mean Real Heavy Rain especially High way Drive

    • @jdfd4906
      @jdfd4906 6 лет назад

      Ooi OE I believe if u fit the same tyres on both the harrier and the xc60, xc60 shld be more stable.
      But then again I’ve never driven SUVs before so cannot comment. But do fit Michelin latitude sports 3 tyres if u get one, it’s the grippiest tyre for SUV.

      Between the three choices you picked, I'd go for the XC60 on the all-round balance of its abilities. The XC40 is sportier to drive, but the XC60 puts you into a higher segment car.

    For people who live in an apartment a PHEV has no benefit whatsoever especially if there is no place for us to recharge

    Yes agree, in order to entice potential buyers to opt for T5 model momentum ( not inscription) , Volvo Malaysia should put the
    1) chrome on the door window frames
    2) change the ugly 18 inch rim to another prettier 18 or 19 inch rim like previous generation XC60. Then sales for T5 will improve and be better cause the looks will be more elegant for a RM 280k asking price.
    I think the Volvo Malaysia managing director is sleeping as he a assume only the T8 will sell better which is RM 70k to 80k.
    Come on Volvo Malaysia Managing Director ,please wake up from your dream world and do you want to sell more XC60 T5 model or not ? Your Volvo Malaysia marketing team decisions making are irrelevant and bad choice most of the time not suiting the actual Malaysia buyer needs . That is why Volvo sales cannot fight with Merc and BMW sales in Malaysia .
