I pick and choose my risky adventures. Scuba diving, especially in caves, is not for me. I enjoy living vicariously through you. You’re a bit of a mad man to be honest. This looks absolutely terrifying. Great channel and wish you continued success!
@Electric Future .. have some respect for elders.. mad man? That’s cheap .. I hope you won’t like if someone Calls you or your father or husband a mad man ? He has 2 little kids who watch his channel and my kids who are 6 and 4 resp. So watch out
We fear what we don't know. I have been diving for years and actually taught some people who were at first petrified of what was underwater. As for caves, I have done some cavern diving, and it makes me want to check out cave diving, because I love spelunking above water. One of the most amazing things in life is pushing through your fears and finding beautiful, amazing adventures beyond. SCUBA Diving and Cave Diving are only risky when you try it without the proper training.
Hey Jonathan, I don’t know if you’ll ever see this or not, but I just wanted to say that I love watching your videos with my little brother! Both of us have always been fascinated by the ocean, and he says one of the things he’d like to be one day is a marine biologist. Thank you so much for making family friendly, wholesome content for so many people of all ages to enjoy! I pray you and your family are safe no matter where you go out there in the Blue World :)
Jonathan, if you’re some how reading this I want to thank you for being such an inspiration to me and my interests. I have a passion for studying the ocean and specifically learning about sharks. Just seeing you go and swim the ocean to explore unique habitats and animals is so heart warming for me. Anything could result in your death but you do it anyway because it’s something you can’t let go. I feel the same and want to be like you when I’m older. I would love to take diving classes and learning about marine biology. All of this is what shaped me today and I couldn’t thank you more. It totally beats me being successful as a gamer youtuber. Just watching this incredible footage and hearing you explain everything in detail. This just always brightens my day and I can’t stop myself from watching. Just contributing to teach others about the ocean and showing the incredible geography in caves while diving in them is so amazing. Jonathan, your a very kind person and has been doing this for years and I couldn’t thank you more and these videos could also be changing so many more people for the better and we wouldn’t even know. Keep doing what your doing and know everyone appreciates your presence in the blue world🙏🙏😃👍
This channel literally changed my life and brought me so much closer to the water and always kept me curious and excited about the world around me thank you for making these videos
That entrance to the cave looks magical and so are those stars! I can only imagine trying to fit into those cracks without bumping or feeling claustrophobic. Btw, just want to let you know you inspired me to dive and in the last days of 2020, despite the pandemic I managed to earn my open water certification in my home country (Puerto Galera, Philippines). The underwater world is truly beautiful. Thank you for your inspiring, quality content! 😄
The Philippines are a great place to dive. Once COVID dwindles down enough I fully intend to go back there and dive again. This time in Coron. Last time I was there I went to Subic Bay, the water has a lot of turbidity because it has rivers running into it, but it has a lot of great wrecks.
Oh my god, You literally Made my Childhood Johnathen, You're the reason I got into Marine Biology, I love what you do and please keep going, Your making alot of people happy 🤗
Great start to the New Year, I never knew that there are so many unique species in the Playa del Carmen/ Cancun/ Cozumel area. I feel really lucky for living in that area. I really hope that I can one day be a cave diver, junior open water just isn't enough here. Stay safe, and I love your videos!
Agreed, although I noticed they had a ton of ads on this the other night. I hope our viewers know that we have absolutely no control over how many ads, where they are placed and what is being advertised. That is all google.
Hey, Jonathan, thanks for making up a portion of my childhood with those videos of you going to aquariums, talking about lampreys and swimming with sharks, it really made my day during those years
But Jonathan, that doesn't make us stop swimming with them. In Darwin Australia, there is a tourist attraction called the Crocosaurus Cove They have this attraction called, "The Cage of Death". They let you get into a glass cylinder with the saltwater crocodile. Even your friends Coyote, Mark, and Mario went there. The video got over 5 million views. Coyote said: "It is a encounter you will never forget".
Great video 👏🏻👌🏻 Didn't know that cave diving is possible in Cozumel. Looks really awesome. My next video is about cave diving in the Red Sea 😊 Have a nice day and keep up the good work 👍🏻
The caves in Cozumel are not that widely known, because most of the people visiting Cozumel are reef diving and there aren't many cave guides on the island. The main guy who leads cave dives on Cozumel was off island when we were there, so we had to get our friend Christine to take the ferry over and lead the dive for us.
Always nipping your heels. Was just down in Tulum in October, cave diving (Nohoch, Eden, Mayan Blue, car wash, Dos Palmas, etc), in Florida in December diving Gennie, Madison Blue and Peacock (even ran into and chatted with your buddy Wayne at Amigos!) - and Cozumel back in September doing some hypoxic Trimix dives on those gorgeous walls! The Blue world is a small world! Great work and episode - plan to dive This cave next time I’m on the island in Feb.
Do an episode on the Gray (grey) Whales because you like whales and it’s really cool. To see them the best would either be in Baja California where the calves are born or Anchorage, Alaska where they feed.
Hello! I am just so happy right now! I watched this show when I was like 4! And I realized hey I haven’t watched this in a long time and I am happy you are filming still! So HI! I am back! It has been 6 yrs! ( I am 10.)

Hi Jonathan I’m a new watcher and so far loved all your videos specially the caves I love animals and I love the water keep the good videos coming as I will keep watching them ❤️❤️
Thanks for the videos blue world team . Have a good time in 2021. Your videos are good. Thanks for the videos because you inspired me to scuba dive to.so anyway thanks to you again.
Man, what an incredible place! So much variety along one path. I know it's not really within your wheelhouse but I would have loved to know more about the geology of the place, there was so much going on there- smooth limestone, that dark spongy limestone (probably a brown alga but what if something else?? manganese??? lmao), the different flat bits with both oozy muck AND sand, and I even spotted some drip formations I think. Add to that whatever nonsense that halocline might be adding in there, what a total mess, I love it!!

Your cave dives are extremely fascinating and kind of spooky! This one was definitely an odd one with the halocline splitting the cave!
So visually interesting though!
