I also think the double Kane thing was Kane was the kids name and the dad just put the ps3 under kid Kane’s name and Kane’s not the dads actual name and just said that cuz he knew it was under kid Kane’s name

First time I went to a stranger’s apartment to buy something from them second-hand, I genuinely prepared for if they kidnapped/killed me.
I left a note in my room on my desk specifying all the information I had on the person I intended to meet, when and where we were meeting etc. in case I went missing and turned on tracking on my phone (I also wrote that in the note). I also think I attached paper clips to my clothes where it was easily accessible so I could pick a lock or something (paper clips are useful!) if necessary.
I wasn’t worried or anything and didn’t think anything would happen- I just knew I’d be annoyed at myself if something did happen and I hadn’t bothered to prepare. I realise now that this was pretty extra tho....

When my brother was 17 (I was 15), he really wanted an electric guitar. He found an ad for a good one in near mint condition at a very reduced price from a person who said it’d just been cooped up in their apartment. So when my parents went out, we got in an Uber and headed off to their apartment to buy it. We successfully got the guitar (the lady was lovely), headed back home and told my parents we saw it in a shop down the road and got it quickly before someone else bought it. My parents still don’t know and probably never will.
This was clearly a case of a kid selling something and his dad having to get involved because the kid wasn’t see on what he was doing
