I run a clan moulder army (shocking I know) called the Hosptial Invicibalius with 2 master moulder and two hellpit abominations along with an assortment of other skaven troops. While the rat ogre models don't look great they are killers at killing other units. My army lore is that I basically have a giant hospital strapped to the back of a hellpit abomination and provide "healing services" to any chaos champion or skaven upstart willing to pay. We do all types of weird modifications, but hay your chances of becoming a chaos spawn because of our "upgrades" is shown to be way less in a legally defined sort of way. Any takers? 🐭
Love this video. My skaven are heavily clan moulder. The fact that rat ogors are ogors turned into skaven not skaven turned into ogors has just sparked some conversion ideas into my brain!
I'd be really keen to hear what your favourite - but most commonly misunderstood - bit of lore from Age of Sigmar is! Especially from listening to The Emperor Protects, it is really neat to hear other people's interpretations and meaning behind lore on characters/factions/settings which can change how you look or appreciate them
Always love your videos Doug, and because of you I found a site to get discounted GW products in the US. Just used your link to pre-order the Slaves to Darkness army box
I prefer the orruk war clans or the other destruction factions. Not only are they good for a chuckle but they've always just resonated with my inner child somehow.
I know they aren’t actually games workshop models but there are plenty of really good rat ogre models online. I plan on making a small force of pestilence and molder and plan on getting the good rat ogre models I’ve found, they look way better than what games workshop has and are way cheaper lol
Hey Doug would love to see you do a video on Be'lakor's minions based on the info from the new Slaves to Darkness battletome and all the stuff on Chaos Legionnaires that was in White Dwarf 481. Between the Legionnaires, Centauroid and Eternus there should be more than enough for one.
I used to have an all Moulder army. Had like 12 Rat Ogors or something. Even took en extra Grey Seer from the Screaming Bell kit and put it on top of the Rat Ogor from the same kit. Instead of ringing the bell he was swinging a big morning star.
When moulder, goe to war, monsters and abominations crawl, fly, skitter and squirm to the battlefield, Moulder shaper: Yes-yes, begin the cavalcade of nightmares. for the horned rat!!
I posted this on another of your videos but realized you made that video years ago😅 Are there any clans that Clan Moulder absolutely hate/have disdain for??? I am a Total warwarhammer player
I get there's a lot to it, but skaven are hurting for new models. Like an army based on veriety and innumerable monsters could really use some love hopefully old world gives us some
I'd reckon more people when they think fantasy warhammer think "oh the game with the funny ratmen" than "oh the game with the goblins". I'd say Skaven are by far more popular than goblins.
“Hell Pit” was the Moulder capital city in the old world, thus the name of the abomination.

Hosptial Invicibalius is the most skaven shit I’ve ever read.

I play a Moulder/Skryre list and it’s a ton of fun. Highly recommend it to anyone into mad scientists!

love it
can you make more vids about skaven in AoS pls
Thanks so much for making this video. I love clan moulder and all their weird biogenetic fleshwarping monsters!!!

Skaven are hands down the funniest race in warhammer! Orruk's are a close second. :)
I'll take mushroom intoxicated Gitz any day

@@thegametroll6264 I kinda like the black Orcs from WHF more , they lost some of their goofiness with AOS

for the horned rat!!
The Hell Pit Abomination reminds me of Tetsuo at the end of the movie “Akira”.
I like how AoS has a greater variety of art showing different factions fighting each other.
Punga Miniatures has some amazing Rat Ogres.
All roads lead to skavenblight!

I have to disagree with them being the most iconic, Night gobbos are definitely their most iconic to me, but ratties are definitely up their yes yes
I'd have to disagree with you lol
@@Forthemachinegod you need to layoff of eating all that warpstone bud
