I'm very excited about Remarkable 2 coming out on June, double the speed, longer battery, magnetic pen, eraser pen, google chrome connectivity, magnetic folio. Etc. I can't wait for other devices implementing color canvas.
Hi, I have an old Kobo Aura that I'm very fond of, but I'm starting to have several kindle books downloaded on a tablet and obviously it's a problem. So I'm looking for an e-reader where you can read both kobo and kindle and that makes it well even in the dark or with poor outdoor lighting. I do not care that it is the top of the range as long as the reading with the two apps is good, for the rest I have an excellent tablet. What do you suggest me? Thanks so much
I have Kindle Paperwhite and Boyue Likebook Mimas and I love using both. I sing in a choir so Mimas is amazing for reading sheet music and making notes during practice. The Wacom pen is a very nice to use. Kindle Paperwhite is just to satisfy my ebook needs. Mimas has the Kindle app but it's very slow. Whenever I read epub books, I use Mimas for them because I'm too lazy to convert them in Calibre to mobi to send to Kindle. I sometimes actually prefer the big 10.3" screen to my small 6" Kindle screen. Also I wouldn't imagine if my eInk device didn't have front light. I am a read in the dark in bed before sleep kind of person :)
Agreed. My Mimas is still out for repair due to a shortage of parts, and I use multiple e-book platforms (Play Books, Kobo, Kindle, Storytel, PressReader, Comixology, OverDrive Libby, and a lot of self-published stuff and technical documents in the built-in reader), but have a Kindle Paperwhite 3 and Kobo Clara HD for some book research, and I'm using the latter to catch up on some stuff I bought on Kobo, and some stuff I borrowed on my library's OverDrive website.
I yet lack a note-taking device. Then again, well... you know. It is an expensive way to have unlimited ink and paper. And digital notetaking devices don't make the best ebook readers. Nor does a 10" model e-book device for note taking make sense for average day book reading. So choices have to be made. My current model is a Kobo Aura One, quite big enough for relaxed reading with all the features I need. Not sure how I would like a 10" model to read books on, for manga though :!
Some day wacom tech and E ink processing gets cheaper...e ink writing tablets gonna rule.. With colour comes..note taking will get revolutionized.. Those who are interested in long term investments...invest in wacom..or e ink display making corporation.. E ink watches and E ink powerd mobile cases gonna rule...of it gets cheaper..
I don't have any of these and I'm still watching this video, liking it and dreaming to get at least a kindle.
This video is so revealing. There are models I always ignored that are cheaper than the remarkable 2.

Thoose "large e reader" should come with an external monitor feature
Just discovered this channel. I love e-ink technology, it's so pure for the eyes to look at. Thanks for having created this channel.
The clean lines of the kobo looked awesome in this video
I like the e-ink panels to display advertisements. they look awesome! I have never noticed them in any store in Canada so far.
There are e-ink tram schedules in Prague, Czech Republic in a couple of places.
Wish the next iPad has feature to change its display from LED to eINK back and forth.
Where is the boox nova 2 review?
Hi guys, I just notice that you are a store, is there any news when ''Clearink'' products will be available?

@@goodereader nah its just funny that one of the categories is basically everything else which according to you is a lot 15/17 total.
@@Pasicho In taxonomy, the more uncommon ones (one of a kind) are always classified as 'other'.
