I totally agree man, I've youtubed the story a bit and Bane is maybe my n1 fav DC villain. They should do an animated movie on just him.
I'm reading Knightfall now for the first time and oh my god what a crazy one it is. Batman becoming emotionally and physically exhausted after catching one Arkham inmate after an other and Bane is just sitting waiting for the right moment to finish him off. Because of that, I find Bane way more compelling now than I did before
I would really love to see it.
What people forget about bane is that he’s one of the most tactical, smartest opponents Batman has to face. In the comics what makes him different from other villains is that he’s not an average stupid thug. One of the best portrayals being the Arkham origin game
And yet "Batman & Robin" Bane is literally as dumb as a brick! So dumb that he can't even speak! And the transformation in the film is just disgusting!

I agree but outside of Tom Hardy and Arkham Origins, he's not written properly. He usually wrote a just a brute who like a henchman or hired help while the comics originally wrote him as a intellectual genius and tactician on par with Batman and is fully capable of being a great fighter without using his Venom.
My brother really likes Bane (the one with Tom hardy) he thought he was really cool.

He basically turned Bane into a jobber in the first two Arkham Games.
Bane is supposed to be one of Batmans greatest foes who is not only superior in physical strength (due to venom) but also on the same level as batman not only regarding fighting skills but also intelligence.
In the first two Arkham Games he's basically an idiot who's only strategy is running towards you.

Bane from Justice League: Doom (6:54) has got to be one of my favorite portrayals of the character. With the screen time he had in that movie, they established that this Bane is very much the physical and intellectual equal to Batman. Just like he's supposed to be. Also, I just find his delivery of the line "I won't repeat it" so badass. You know he meant it, and Batman knew it too and had to be defensive, for the most part.

@@noahadames4784 he’s not Brit lmao, he’s based of a Luchador and most original animated series give him a Hispanic accent, ancestry, and skin tone. And he did grow up in Santa Prisca, somewhere in South America, so Mexico or any spanish speaking country would serve so.
The reason why is because it’s very difficult for the animators to get him to emote expressions with a full closed mouth

No,you're not alone! Tom Hardy and and Shane west did better live action portrayals of Bane than the 1997 version ,which looked like a mindless Lou Ferrigno -esque Hulk on steroids juxtaposed with a Luchador wrestler and was a third-wheel villain and minion to Poision Ivy! XD

okay seriously, im actually going around everywhere finding for this answer. Pls dun tell me its 'plot convenience', i would really appreciate a proper answer. If Bane can actually punch through walls and metal gates, how on Earth does then batman even stand on his feat and survive the beatings from Batman? I mean is it because of his armor?
I think because a human body has give when it is standing. A metal gate is attached to the walls on either side, and brick walls have no give. They both shatter. An equivalent test would be if Batman had his feet cemented into the ground and his hands shackled to the ceiling. Then, of course, Bane would destroy him in one horizontal punch. But when they fight in open space and Batman gets hit, he gets sent flying.
A scary thought: Giving The Flash Bane's venom would be insanely destructive.

Vegetarian Soylent-Green Batman the animated series is the closest because bane has always been a mixed of brain and brawn. While yes the costume is a little off it is close.

I kinda like 'The Batman' Bane. I think its the fact that his face is completely concealed and his outfit seems to spread out nicely when he transforms and all the yellow tubes around his body. Its an interesting take in my opinion. Personally not a fan of the Dark Knight one myself but then again I am just going off appearance as I haven't seen the movie but I think if you showed me that version without telling me it was Bane and I didn't already know, I wouldn't eve consider Bane as a choice. That's just me though and I respect that others like this version.

Bane in Batman And Superman Public Enemies might have been a representation of what is Bane without his mind , a brute who is eazly defeated even on Venom .
In Dark Night Rises Bane looks more like a Normal Kombat character and sounds like drunk Darth Vader.

I fucking agree. The way he beat the shit out of Batman and humiliated him was awesome. He is also shorter than Batman yet still seems like the bigger man. This Bane was so damn menacing and evil that Batman resorted to killing him just to win.
The same people screaming at the very IDEA of a black Batman are at the same time fine with changing Bane. Yup folks, changing a characters entire race is fine as long as you're switching him to white.🤦♂️
