This film uses clips from a video report made by Prof. Vishvajit Pandya and his team for the NITI Ayog but doesn't even give credit for it. 'The anthropologist' shown in the clip is Prof. Pandya but the film couldn't take his name.
they are not foolish media ,...they are paid media ...paid by western powers which wants India to forever remain poor so that they exploit cheap resources (manpower) for their own good
Also let us understand that in order to document this video, the reporter had to used the government driven infrastructure like flight and ship. We need to balance development with environment. One without the other can be disastrous
It will serve as a transshipment port and hub due to its proximity to busy shipping lanes. This strategic position justifies increased naval patrols in the area and also provides a supply depot for naval vessels. In the event of a conflict, this facility could support India in blockading Chinese commercial ships if necessary
Not exactly anti national but really weak reporting without showing whom they actually talked ...looks like all video copy pasted from somewhere else... Even if it copy pasted at lease they could quote their source of info .
@@diyar8161 Hiding the fact that these project is being made on demand of Indian Navy as they need a base to monitor china in the strait of Malacca. If we ever are in a war with china this base will be our most crucial asset to choke china's supply chain and destroy its economy. National interest trumps anybody's fears and problems. Anybody against this developement is most probably paid by china and is an anti national. These are no government's development plans but rather development plans of our armed forces. They can criticize the government as much as they want but going against national secuirty is a shame.
it's probably being called a "sea port" but more likely a navy base for the possible upcoming maritime silk route battles in the next few decades... i mean, there has been no historic trade connection from nicobar island, how are you going to make one out of thin air? who will live there?

Government is trying to develop a city like Singapore!
Why foolish media does not want India to get developed!

Because nicobar is home to some of the endemic species that are not found anywhere in the world.

Exactly ....they are going to perish or be talked up by other country if Indian Government doesn't provide support

kabhi andaman dekha bhi hai map mai itna zyada chota hai usee overcrowd kar ke kya karoge
Great report, please report about it in a more detailed manner
Unless elites have too much of money to waste, and a smuggling platform, why do we need a Hong Kong in India?
A Christian would never be happy with developing India. He would rather prefer a poor India so that christian missionaries can get good harvest!!
Very poor reporting and cherry picked info without quoting proper sources
My thoughs still revolve around the economic viability of this project. How is this going to make a sensible sea port.
