    What do you guys think about Sengun and who would you guys want me to cover next?

    • @vaudou_
      @vaudou_ 4 месяца назад +1

      One note, Sengun was drafted by OKC on behalf of the Rockets. Houston tried to trade to get a pick to draft him starting with with 6th pick and each team turned them down until OKC at 16th. So it was really Houston who drafted him with a traded pick from OKC.

    I'm a big Rockets fan and have been a fan of Sengun since he started playing.
    If he continues to progress he will surely be a consistent allstar and lead this Rockets squad for years to come.
    MVP though? I'd bet against it.
    Jokic 2.0 again I doubt it.
    His ceiling is probably about 70% of what Joker is. But that is more than enough to make him a star.

    • @schibztrk4918
      @schibztrk4918 4 месяца назад

      He has higher ceiling is higher than jokic,first of all he is more athletic. Second jokic is doubted so much but carve the path for alpy's playstyle. He can make 3's but doesn't take much. He has confidence issues as most of the young players. If he can get a extension in rockets he can be a frenchise player and a confidence boost. Mark my words with the right pieces he will be a superstar. Next season another breakout year for him I'm confident.

    • @williamdavis9562
      @williamdavis9562 4 месяца назад +1

      @@schibztrk4918 Yes he is more athletic but assuming he has a higher ceiling than Jokic is insanity.
      Alp simply doesn't have the touch or sheer ball skill of Jokic, not even close.
      Not to mention that if you think Alp has a "higher ceiling" than Jokic, you believe Al P could become the best player ever by a wide margin?
      Because a higher ceiling than Jokic puts you right there.
      I'm a huge fan of Al P and have been one of his biggest defenders. But what you're saying is outright delusional.
      I do agree with you that next year might potentially be breakout season for Al P. If he can be 70% of the Joker, that means we have a stud on our hands. A guy who can carry this team deep into the playoffs and possibly beyond.

    I don't think he'll be called "baby Jokic" any more. He's been building up a game, and also a name for himself. He is unique, thats for sure.
    Throughout his journey from Giresun to this point, he gained everything he had so far. Time will tell the rest of his story.

    Great player! HOUSTON WIN 9/9 Without him because was easy games , he is very ability and there is still so much space to improve Himself! Will be better .
    He is coach l don't think like him. Yesterday front of media he said alperen must improve shoot and make basket outside with shoot. This pysicological pleasure .Front of media want something(lm ex national team player) Udo will create excuse he may take some minutes from alperen and if anyone ask him he will say alperen need success outside shoot! Alperen did not come Houston or NBA for outside or 3 pts shoot. He already success in 3 second zone. Above%60 why need to push him outside shoot? As a coach in training can tell but not front of media. So stressful for alpi. Since beginning season coach not appreciate alpi easily but when he talk about other players can see his exciting😢 Alpi must go from Houston. (My personal opinion)
    jellen or many players in Houston they don't have stability everyone will see it.
    Alpi already have standard average not drop below%50-60 not 1-2 games. Not easy to keep that average all season.

      Alperen himself has stated that he likes tough coaching and Udoka doesn't hold his tongue when it comes to criticizing any player on the team. Sengun has made massive improvements under coach Udoka and has thrived as the number 1 option. Alperen doesn't need to be steph curry from 3. but he will be a more valuable player if he can reliably shoot 3s like jokic and embiid can. He is still very young so he has a lot of time to work on that shot. As a Rockets fan, I'd like to see him play his entire career in Houston.

      İngilizcem zayıf. Türkçe yazıyorum. İsterseniz internetten çevirebilirsiniz. Alperenin %35 in üstünde 3 Sayılık şut alabildiği, jalen green-jabary-a.tompson un istikrarlı dış şut tehdidi oluşturabildiği bir Houston şampiyonluk adayı olur.

    if sengun continues like this he will probably end up as the best turkish player in the nba. but tbh the bar isn‘t that high, as the most turkish players were max. B-C tier. Hedo and okur had their time but they were never considered as „superstars“. Alpi is exciting to watch and as a turkish citizen myself i love the way he represents our people in the states as he seems to be a good dude too beside of his enormous talent. All the best to him and other talents like yurtseven, kaplan 💪🏻

    Nope, he never be a second Jokic. Jokic dominates the paint, Sengung is more a finesse player
