@@echsystem1802 But it is particularly important for Sett because he is one of the hardest champions to escape with. Even other juggernauts have some tools like Garen Q or Morde E backwards.

I either play him with chemtank, or go for sunfire aegis. And build something like force of nature or any tank item that gives movespeed. It works for me well.

Possible tip for laning as well is to take some tower shots when enemy resets and you need to shove > at least 3 tower shots to fill up your grit and then just W the wave to clear it really fast.
Only do it when the wave is just outside the enemy tower though, you shouldn't run to enemy tower and then walk to the wave when it's in the middle of the lane since it wastes too much time.

As a Sett main, I must say that I missed a tip saying that in a Teamfight, use your Ult on the tankier one (aiming at the enemy team), so you can deal a lot morr damage

not necessarily tips and tricks but if you play with premades, try going for a grasp/tank build. go for Sunfire, steraks and stoneplate as your core. gives you a sure mount when people manage to unmount you due to steraks passive and stoneplate active. although weaker due to sunfire nerf, you scale better late game being a tank than a squishy damage dealer which kled lacks. you can deviate from the build building damage like normal kled or go full tank for your team.

@@minhtien6377 thing is, tanks don't get that much value out of stone plating which is considered not good due to the duration, but kled can make use of its full duration and shield because if he is unmounted, then the enemy HAS to burst you down if they don't want to fight you remounted again, which, Stone plating AND steraks which gives you two health shields supplements that WHILE dealing more damage than a malphite.
So yeah, I didn't say you SHOULD build it, but i said TRY it if you have friends to play around you.
@@mikewasasuke9695 Kled Main here. Grasp on Kled is trolling every time, you always go Conqueror these days as Kled prefers drawn-out fights and can stack it quickly with W. Although the new Sunfire change is a buff for Kled (as he likes Tenacity and already builds a good deal of Ability Haste), I’d still only take it to counter tank-heavy team comps for that ramping damage. Otherwise, you’re still better going Ironspike Whip-Ravenous Hydra-Goredrinker Complete-Gargoyle’s Stoneplate. If you’re versus the only tank on the enemy team, you can throw a Black Cleaver in between Hydra and Stoneplate. Hope this helps out.
this is usefull also the w flash interaction was very helpfull for the final blow so the enemy didn't expect that coming.
No, how we carry is going full Lethality so that even if you dodge the middle of W you take heavy damage.

you can see he is moving just slightly in between attacks. May seem like a small thing, but had huge payoff here
he kited one auto to drag fiora into the fight abusind the reach of right fist, but then nothing.
Also, may we point out that kiting doesnt make a big difference when playing lvl 7 vs lvl 5 and that the fiora was suicidal to say the least to even attemp anything more than farming safely? xD

considering this is likely KR GM-Challenger, i disagree. Though generally I can see why trading with 2lvl disadvantage is bad, erhaps she wanted to heavy trade cause her jungle was hovering, or something along those lines.
@@settdown7001 I mean even then either u commit timing the bait with ur jungler arrival or U wait, sett wasnt gonna leave the wave anyway so he was gonna be overextended no matter what.
I might add that a lvl 7 sett on a lvl 5 fiora means probably 2 kills or 1 kill +1 forced back or the likes; so at this stage of the game, unless jungler is fucking 4/0 rammus or volibear, I think sett would easily 1 v2 with that lead.
We are only making assumptions of course, but yeah a jungler's arrival might explain the reason why she stepped up, but not quite justify the way it all played out in the clip.
As a Sett player this was nice. Forgot to mention that you can ult over the thinner walls to make walljumps. Everything except that was nice. Keep it up man, it's nice to learn a lot of those micro knowledge.
As a person who has been playing sett since release, flash ult is probably the best think you will ever see

I was forced to surrender to a game I could easily win but my team sucked so much I was forced to lose the game

Great video, after playing Sett for a (not really) long time, i tought i knew everything i could do with him, since the champ is pretty straith foward, but there a bunch of tricks i didnt know about

There's a tip I would add, when someone ganks you, you can use your R towards your own tower like a Yasuo E to escape.
I always max Q on Sett no matter what. I'm use to his extended range on his second punch at this point. Plus they almost always expect you to fire a W to win when they're literally getting punched down.
Quick guide how to carry as Sett:
1. Pick Sett.
2. That's all. He is op af.

Catching the W in level 1 helps in the exchange against dolls that stack your W very fast like Darius and Urgot, making you gain level 1 and consequently the lane if you abuse it with the bushes and a doran's blade.

Btw, I've noticed a weird bug at 3:17, where Sylas used his ult to steal from Sett, yet his next auto didn't do the passive aoe (it looked like he got the 80% attack speed though). As for Sett, I really like seeing him, since he's just all around solid to have on your team (easy to use CC, damage and tankiness), while my entire champ pool counters him if he is an enemy (Aurelion Sol, Senna, Swain, Xerath, Bard, etc...). He also beats those annoying and OP high mobility assassins, so I definitely appreciate you encouraging people to play him :D

Can I add some counter picks as well:
1. Irelia : the dashes can nullify Setts w if timed correctly, and the stun when lands is not too shabby
2. Vayne and Lucian : or basically any adc top lane, but Vayne especially, because of true damage and going invisible can distract Sett, and dash for Lucian making it possible to dodge the W, not to mention Ult cannot be dodged by Sett because of lack of mobility
3. Singed : will always have enough HP to survive and q chips away hp quite painfully...and with Leandra's torment, crystal scepter...very tilting
4. Tahm Kench : more hp than Sett, has a build in shield that can nullify his W or if nothing done heals him nicely, can stun and then do true damage by swallowing, occasionally giving time for jungler to come up and help. Not to mention can ult and get faster to lane to farm
5. Olaf : can be a nice counter against Sett thanks to his Ult, effectively nullifying Sett's E, W combo AND making his Ult useless, but the timing must be perfect
6. Teemo : very tilting by default, but when combined with blind in early game reduces the damage output my at least 50% because q becomes useless, not to mention poison chipping away hp, in some cases Sett can be attacked even under tower.
I agree with tahm kench and vayne, but for others i disagree. Irelia and olaf isnt really an issues , especially when you froze the lane and even if they pulled up the lane, you can still towerdive them if their jg doesnt love them. Singed, teemo and lucian is annoying but overall if you know their gameplan, it isnt a big issues to deal with them. But for vayne and tahm, jesus the lane is almost uninteractive as hell once these 2 fuckers reach level 3. Its just 24/7 farm stimulator.

In Baron u can use ult if enemy jungles w8 for flesh-smite , spam R in that direction and instantly u ult when he flash , jump with him outside the wall

I think the ones that counter sett are Urgot and Vayne.
Vayne, you cannot get close to her at all.
Urgot, unless they intentionally e you when youre close to your tower out of turret range you get to ult them into turret range for free.
I see many new sett players they only e pull and never e stun. Remember to hit a target on both sides of e to stun even if its a minion or jungle camp.
My gameplan usually is slow push level 1 and get a trade in on the enemy and then level 2 hard shove and wave bounces back. When they walk out of turret range, flash e aa1 aa2 q1 q2 w and you should get first blood.
I usually rush bork then i get stride breaker because bork powerspike is great, though some may disagree.

I give it 3 to 5 waves against a vayne. If she's a bad vayne, i rush tabi's, and start building an ironspike whip. If she's a really good vayne, i try to go back to lane with a bramble vest and max w.
Idk why urgot is a counter to sett. Cuz most urgots that i met are ez to play around, at my rank plat 4. But honestly volibear W with a sheen and garen with a bramble vest while spinning is more of a bigger threat to sett compare to urgot. Also tahm kench , pantheon and warwick with bramble vest also hard counter sett like crazy.

U missed a keypoint ,sett is really good in extended fights because of his passive he gets free potions and damage , so it's best to avoid being bursted down
also missed the whole "ult damage scales with enemy bonus health" thing

Very Nice, another Nice trick, You can use your W to bait enemy R since it can block half ir even all the damage. Like Darius R, Garen R, Cho gat R but should've cast correctly.
When You ult, the more max HP the enemy has, more damage the other chamos get. Ult a Sion no Tristana You get an easy kill.
When the enemy is instupable and You ult him, You Will do the animation but alone, so you'll lose a Lot of damage. (Yone E, Orn W, Voli r.)
E cancels some dash like camille E, irelia Q.
E stuns when You hit 2 targets or more in two sides, airbounce for .5 sec (yasuo con ult), and slows strange on jungle walls, etc.
Champs like yasuo (e) and irelia (Q), Warwick (q) can place them un your back so care because they can Dodge your W.
The w si also great vs Zoe E+Q, Ahri E+w+Q (You literaly blocks electrocute).

Playing Sett:
Play around W if you are equally as strong as your opponent. Crucial to land your true damage with max W.
Have the E have enemies (minion, camp, epic monster, champion) on each side for the stun rather than slow.
Walk forward / towards the direction they are walking (ex. turret) to make sure you remain in range after every 1-2 autos.
AA QQ is crucial for max auto attack damage.
R damage is stronger depending on the ulted enemy's health. More health = more damage on impact.
Dont use E as engage unless you have something to re-engage after they are out of range. Use E to pull them in if they attempt to get away.
Playing Against Sett:
Bait out his W when possible, usually uses it as full bar. If not, then damage Sett and if they dont use it at full, wait to engage after the bar resets to 0.
Avoid his E range if enemies are on both sides.
Play a range character with cc or slows (quinn, vayne, ashe )
Avoid his R damage, the tankier the person he ulted the more damage it deals.

also r is good if you push lane under enemy tower you can use jungler as escape or isolate him from toplane making him an easy pick to 1v1.
There’s one really big trick with his ult: you can insta ult someone against thick walls. 10:20 you can see he casts ult and almost instantly lands, dealing the damage. Great for roams to bot lane, and also fighting in baron pit

for the counters i would gladly add Sylas and Illaoi, for both you either need ignite bramble or executioners which is really dumb.
Also Malphite is really tricky too if you don't kill him before the 1st back which you can't always do(depends on the junglers)

I feel like you should have mentioned the % dmg on his R. Sometimes you need to slam the tank into the backlane to oneshot the adc. Great tips tho
the issue is, if youre dominating lane like you should, the tank won't have a lot of health. also thats kind of obvious. also its almost always better to secure kills or peal then it is to try and tank the team.

I have saw some intresting builds on sett with grasp and sunfire or hail of blades vs some matchups, but still all players who play sett and are in chall/gm play it with conq and normal build, it is worth to go other runes or crazy builds ?

As a sett main, I knew alot of these already, and the trickiest plays are the abductions. I have also found that domination tree is much better, as it provides way more healing, especially when in a poke-intensive lane.
So I started to play Renekton and I enjoyed but i dont know how to play the champ. Cna you do a tutorial please? Your videos helped me a lot, nice work.

Good video, though I highly recommend maxing W still. Q max is nice, but W damage is more consistent and it's the key to winning trades.
I always go with q max because it just feels better while laning vs melees. Q is more consistent for short trades (e aa q) but i can see why w max might be better. I have just always gone q
