No not really, that could have been easily done with the gauge as how rose has it. They are experimenting since ugb hit roshi and now this tag unit.
Tag goku/frieza will have the same mechanic for sure.

@@ilikehero5027G4 was the best unit In the game once he got his platinum equipment. revival Gohan was better before the plat but not after. However Revival Gohan did age better than G4.

22:20 Pretty cool how the kamehameha actually hit the entire team rather than it only hitting the switched in battle member and just giving everyone else the damage.
This new mechanic opens up so many possibilities like tag characters that fuse with each other

The LF is pretty mid tbh outside of the ending screen so its not that big of a deal.

Preparation ending just ending the combo mid while also sealing off rush etc is just so dummy broken, I don't even want to fathom what they'll be like at high stars if they can do basically everything minus Vegeta's counter not connecting strikes and blasts

I commend the animations team for putting all 3 battle members standing together and getting hit by the kamehameha. Nice touch
I could see a unit be a LF tag GT Goku and SS4 Vegeta (aka the STR 8th year unit from Dokkan) with this preparation mode for the universal sprit bomb, since this unit is a thing now
I am glad these characters came out at a time they did. Imagine if they came out a year ago, Vegeta would have came in with 20% damage cancellable negation and no blocks to RR. These characters are both fun to play with and has a cool mechanic. Seems like they are going back to the fashion of putting uniqueness to LFs instead of just rushing one out each month.
Its prolly just because anniversary is coming up and this episode has 3 parts, with part 2 and 3 being the anniversary. This is a prequel. Afterwards, the unique things like this will be saved for ultra units again probably
I love the new mechanic, I hope they keep making characters feel as unique as the tag 3/2s

I could definitely see a Tag Switch Goku and Pikkin with Vegeta Assist, where it's the same idea but then Goku and Vegeta fuse, to which u could use Gogeta
The preparation mode opens the door for a lot of characters we can get a tag piccolo and goku and goku charges the spirit bomb or another tag piccolo and goku and piccolo is charging the special beam cannon the dev team did a great job
Hear me out,next time they do super hero stuff we could now maybe get a Gohan and awakened/orange piccolo where the preparation mode is gohan charging the special beam cannon.
We are bound to get more super hero stuff, although some saiyan saga love would be great
i think there could be something like for this with piccolo & goten (trunks assist) where piccolo stalls for time for goten and trunks to fuse (same thing could happen with a pikkon & goku (vegeta assist) unit)

Brooo I’m going to zenkai him to 7. Currently at 4 got the ll zenkai 7 and want the yellow god vegeta to be 7 and I have zenkai 7 blue vegeta ll and just tryna build my team. I really want to ultilize the red ultimate attack
I've been running them on androids with TOP 17 and GT 17, and they are definitely killing it with a backbone defensive and blast-based team.
fun fact: vegeta's counter green card can knock back at long range so you can counter blasts at long range and then combo a blue after
I can tell the next unit with the preparation mechanic is going to be Trunks and Gohan
It would be a dream to get a Zenkai of the Tag Blues. They have like, probably the best LF (at least imo) in the game

I feel like whats crazy about this character is that this whole mechanic is one character. Like its easy to forget because he kinda takes the focus of the fight but there are 2 whole other characters you can be using to be fighting. Your opponent has to watch out for this mechanic, and whatever other bs you have in your party.

They are insanely broken but they also reward good play as you can’t just get their nuke off for free

Some people are going to say they are weak due too them not having the skills to earn their unique gauge.
@@Android-Twenty-Onelol That's just skill issue for em u can only fill it up one time in battle u get to a type neutral ultimate at hits all 3 characters if u can stall long enough which is fairly easy considering it locks both u and the opponent rising rush

So glad I pulled them this morning, that unique gadget is so BROKEN when I got it off playing against my friend with all his units still out. It one shot the person who got hit, and had everyone else at one shot. Then it kicked us out the game😭

My 3 star vegeta survived a final explosion by 14* Z7 MV, theyre insane
I used them along with MVP 17 and they just demolish anything and the best part is that MVP can keep Vegeta healthy with his heal on enemy blue and also nerfing enemy damage overall and for the UGB brainlets pairing this guy with a revival will keep them 100% safe.
Took me 2 rotations to pull 1 copy
Got them in 300cc. Happy they're busted
