You can tell who's playing pekka just bc of the broken evolution and who plays it correctly
Playing pekka purely to cycle to evolution is such a bad move imo...just use it when you need it. It's a 1 card cycle...no need to cycle it when it's not needed. It's expensive and you'll just get punished
But of course the evo is super strong so most of these bad players get carried by it. Honestly people complain about evo pekka a lot, but honestly I don't lost to it very often bc the people playing it are kinda bad unless they're a seasoned pekka bridge-spam user
