Scrapping out a Panasonic L.C.D T.V. In this video, I demonstrate how to remove the copper from the L.E.D. back strips and a general dismantle of a modern T.V.
@@MicroScraprMike I have got to agree with you on that one the smaller ones are better in one way , some of the very big ones sometimes have the same size boards as the smaller ones and you are left with alot more plastic and bigger screen to dispose of , I have a couple of 75 inch screens think I might to a compare what get out of of a 75 / 32 and maybe even small one and see which ones are worth stripping and which are not lol
You guys better be on the lookout for copper coated aluminum 😂……….. I had a bunch of washing machine motors and stripped the copper, it was copper coated aluminum.
If I'm able to get a cargo van or a shop of some kind I could make good money on junk televisions 📺 i can go down many streets on any given week and find a small pile of tvs. Being I'm sub renting I can't do much at my location.
@@saltyassassins5816 So long as the state that you are in doesn't have any laws making it illegal to get rid of your waste at the dump? Why not just start small, Take a few apart at a time and dispose of them before you get anymore?
@@MicroScraprMike the city I live in is cool with ewaste recycling. They support it they ask I don't have a sanford and sons routine going on outside the facility. Now I can throw plastics and glass from ewaste in the trash. I've done it at home for years and no one has said anything yet. I'm working towards a cargo van and build up from there
Hurray thank you so much 😁🤝
Nice scrap out
Great video , I do like a good flat screen scrap out lol. 👍😁
Thanks. Me too, when they are small like this, haha.

@@rixismetals A comparison video sounds like a good idea.
I like doing those!
Modern flat screens aren't too bad to scrap out, Pity about the vast amounts of backing plastic though.
I know! At least some of the laptops have an aluminum case
@@SilverScorpion That's a blessing. 👍
👍
I think I've only done one of those ages ago, but I believe I still have those LED strips to get that copper. 👍
Thanks. As you saw, some are as smooth as glass others are as rough as sandpaper. Glad it helped.
when is the next e-waste collection planned?
By e-waste do you mean PC's, laptops etc, etc or do you mean the whiteware that I collect?
@@MicroScraprMike Yes i mean By e-waste pc ,laptop ect ect end whiteware to also the medical ones and others 😁😉
@@krystiankucharski7299 Hopefully in the next few days.
Hurray🙂

A scrappers biggest disappointment! The trickery is very real! Fans are another area of letdown, too

Me and my dad were making big TVs with LEDs. The worst way to get there, but it was worth it
Do you mean the way they went about removing the boards to get to the L.E.D's?
No removing boards cover how to remove
Thanks.

That made no sense at all. Also, learn english. Me and my? Idiot
Smack it with a hammer all the copper transformers fall off instead of taking all that time cutting them off.
