Do love Mia being on the channel, but as someone who doesn’t have social media or anything, how is Joe Cherries doing? Has he been up to any other content creation stuff?
I think sky serpent might be decent in a control/draw go deck. Greens not typically control, but I could see leaving up counterspell mana and a really solid blocker, and ramping if you have nothing else to do with your mana. I think it’s more interesting when you look at it like an instant speed explosive vegetation, stapled on a strong deterrent blocker for the early turns. It’s not so much a flicker etb type card. If you look at it another way it’s 2 mana flying deathtouch etb: draw an instant speed explosive vegetation that hits non basic lands. So if that instant speed explosive veggies is good in your deck it’s kind of like baleful strix
I personally don't see it with the new daretti. there are just too many other cheaper ways to get a similar effect that I don't think I'll ever go for him. Goblin engineer/welder are both much cheaper and more importantly don't require you to attack with them. like if you're hurting to have every single version of this effect possible in a deck then yeah go for it but I certainly don't think it's any good outside of that exact situation. I don't particularly want to pay 4 for Refurbish but I'd still rather do that then need to pay 5 and sac something to maybe get to do it again next turn.
I'm very excited for all the cool new goblins that have been printed this set. Considering slotting Howlsquad Heavy as another haste activator with a little mana support for Krenko, Mob Boss.
The interesting thing about Radiant Lotus is that because its targeting a plauer, it uses the stack and can be copied, while still functionally being a mana ability.
My issue with Molt is that you may mill a card you don’t want to exile. Unless you have a fetch land or other two drop that went to the graveyard, we ain’t ramping until turn 4 or 5. Feels like that might play clunkier than it reads.
Molt tender is just okay, it's a slow and situational mana dork. It's worse than gilded goose because at least the goose brings something with it when it comes in. All the other 1 drop mana dorks are also just better since they're not situational, so they can always make the mana. In a self mill deck molt tender looks better than average but it's still not amazing I don't think.
The quality difference between DS and UP sleeves is less than it has ever been, and people forget that UP sleeves used to have art that peeled off into flakes and they split when you shuffled them. Long ago I vowed never again to buy any UP sleeves and its been a good choice.
about skyserpent seeker. First time seeing this card and I think its really good in landfall decks or gate style decks. I play tower winder in every green deck I can. Its been amazing so far. The threat of a 1/1 reach deathtoucher has literally won me games against the rampant mothman decks in my meta. But this one can grab you potentially 2 gates? I'm in.
While I totally disagree with your opinion on Muraganda Raceway (I think the card is bad, and I would rather put another utility land instead(especially nowadays there are so many)), I'm happy to see Molt tender on the list. I am quite excited for this little guy in my Mycotyrant deck! For March of the world ooze, I would just play Beastmaster Ascension for half the mana instead.
I'm with Beezy on Sky Serpent but not Molt Tender. We have what like 3 or 4 functional reprints of Llanowar Elves to play in commander? I'd be surprised if we wanted to play a 1 drop that is "usually" a mana dork when we already have so many 1 drops that are always mana dorks.
Huh sky serpent seeker is actually a lot like Baleful strix. It kinda just draws you a card. It’s always the same card in its exhaust ability. And in commander it really is the card you want, dropping this at turn 2 or even 3. Much worse topdeck than strix tho, when you don’t want to draw a ramp spell. Exhaust also resemble stuff like adventure or room cards a lot.
Molt Tender maybe a tiny bit ok, but really not, if you want to mill yourself, otherwise its just a way worse mana dork than the other 1 mana dorks, of which there are a plethora. This card is *not* deathrite shaman, DRS is an unreliable mana dork that kills opponents gains life and ruins reanimator decks. Glassdust Gearhulk however...yeah that card is stupidly good. I was sorta onboard with the rest until...uhhhh....I mean the verge lands are ok I guess....but like...The Aetherspark not mentioned. Yeah its certainly a card somewhat more suited to 60 card formats but umm...yeah its kinda insane, especially with all the ways to equip without using the +1 in the format. People gonna be adding 10 mana turn 4 with this all sorts. Nice to see Boros get some love though! No Aetherspark, Glassdust Gearhulk only on the honorable mention list, you all trying to keep prices down? I am confused. Oh and as for Start engines lands..the haste one seems actually good.
In casual it’ll be good as an early blocker and can threaten interaction and if nothing needs to be countered you can just ramp. Probably good in UGX control decks at a minimum but if I’m all in battle cruiser probably too slow
I do appreciate that March of the World Ooze comes pre-Generous Gifted.
the flu is going around

If you look them up on RUclips you can find their channel. I believe it's Mario/Nintendo content.

Mia looks amazing 😻
You’re not getting a 3/3 Elephant. You’re getting a 6/6 Elephant Ooze that turns into a 3/3 Elephant if March leaves the battlefield.
Skyseeker serpent is a 1/1 flying deathtouch that puts an Open the Way for x = 2 into your hand.

The fact you totally skipped "Repurposing Bay" just confounds me. This card and the Lotus will be the all-stars of the set.

Loved the intro! Thanks for another great video!!
Molt tender in slot 3 is a bonkers take
March of the ooze in Bello deck 👍

I agree with Beezy on the skyserpent seeker

Think of Marketback Walker in a deck with cards that cause your creatures to enter with 1/1 counters like tribute to the world tree or the great henge

Automation goes nuts with soultrader

Wait where's Monument to Endurance? Guys, where's Monument to Endurance?

I think it might have legs! (figuratively)
I'll play the snake in Gates, don't worry

I was bamboozled I see no new Beezy list lol
i might have it on private lol, my bad
@ all good 😊
I was bamboozled.
We appreciate your honesty
Loyal attendant lmao you mean loyal apprentice
No speed demon 😔😈 love 😢
Sky serpent is good in limited but in EDH I’d rather cast another powerful spell for 4 mana.
This does not bode well for me lol

where can a nerd find me a mia
Skyserpent aint great beezy, sorry.
