The problem is, where are you going to put it?
This is maybe 500k but you also need somewhere to place it and idk about connecting the toilets to the sewers etc.
Lets say you want a nice location for your restaurant then you could add 200k for the ground. Setting everything up probably can also cost some money.
Then you need to change alot to make it a nice restaurant/
Thats a huge investment if you ask me for around 800k - 1 million.

To be honest 500k is an amazing price, you can just plop this thing down in any bit of land, have your services connected and now you have a 3 story house

There was quite a bit of conflict between the 2 drivers of this team in 2018 so the meetings in that board room would have been especiallly heated

This is Force India’s motorhome! Brings back so many memories. I spent my almost entire school and college years, supporting that team till its last breath😢

500K euros is honestly a steal
How are you not at 100k subscribers?! You are seriously underated.
Finding a purpose for this can't be that hard, but getting it disassembled and shipped sounds really expensive, and also you probably need special permissions to get this installed plus more money getting it assembled.
By the time you add all those costs you are probably better off building/buying something similar to open your bar or restaurant.
I think the newer ones are more efficient and quicker to setup because they use part of the trucks as the structure. I think this one is pretty much built from the ground up
I was in the KTM Red Bull motorhome at the MotoGP a few years back, it was utterly brilliant. Took a rucksack of RB home with me too 🤣

I don't know what surprises me more, the price of it or the fact its actually really close to my home with it being about 40km away or so (and I already live 10km away from JMD, the company that painted Vettels helmets and from many more F1 drivers)

Awesome video and always loved seeing the motor homes of sports and the rigs and honestly that’d be awesome to have built at some small race track to get more people interested in even if it isn’t necessarily a f1 track

Sure, 500k is a bargain for something that originally cost 7.8 million. But I do wonder, who is buying these things? What kind of organization outside of an F1 team would have a use for one of these motorhomes? (Also, at this point can we keep calling them motorhomes? They started out as trucks and trailers that expanded to these living quarters, but clearly at this point they are just mobile buildings, they're no longer self contained.) The only real reason I can think to buy one of these is to strip it for parts and rebuild into something else.
They’re literally just massive somewhat-modular container homes at this point. Like NASCAR has actual motorhomes/haulers still and they’re prolly never gonna change bc they’re so iconic and just fulfill whatever needs they have
As someone else said above you could buy this and open an F1 themed bar and grill etc.. there's many ideas to make money with this. Failing that you could just live in it.

Yeah they usually take everything of value out of these things, but I guess the TVs and furniture weren't valuable to them. And they probably just forgot Estebans underwear lol.
This will make a unique home anywhere you put it. 1/2m is steep but not crazy tbh. But I guess the reno to make it livable will be another huge outlay given this is so customized to host meals and guest and not sleeping.
There are probably actual houses that size for €500,000 and none of those have free telemetry print-outs from Hungary 2018 or Esteban's undies as a welcoming gift. Plus you can't pack up a brick house and take it with you to trackdays. It's a deal!

It's extremely cool to see but I'm not sure their be getting the asking price. It's already 13 years old and there's go to be such a limited market for something like that.
If it appreciates in value like a house, then 500K is a steal. But it's most likely going to depreciate like a regular motor home, and become harder to maintain over time. I don't think many banks would give you a mortgage on it either, so it probably wouldn't make a very good house. But I could see it as a cool nightclub / art gallery / airbnb or something. Any other ideas?

If I had the money I would buy this for a business. Negotiate down the price get it put on abit of land with a kids cart track next to it. Buy some race memorabilia. Serve food and drink out of it. Make it a real experience.

I watched several tour videos of motorhomes/facilities, and almost all of them make no mention of showers. Given how hot and sweaty they get, surely they are around somewhere?!
This one didn't come with showers, sometimes teams brought extra cabins with those specifically or in the drivers motorhomes where they sleep :)

For half a million I expected things to be sort of clean and finished up... this one looks more like a lived out student flat, not worth the money if you ask me.

this was their last race, before they went bankrupt and closed. Stroll then came in and bought the team. They normally have 2-3 different motorhomes, that they shift around the world. The same one isnt used in every race to save on transport costs

They had to remove refueling (and make the cars so big as a result they can’t race together anymore) becuase shipping a pump is too expensive, but bringing a hospitality center around that takes 8 semi trucks with of cargo to each race so corporate guests can ignore the race in comfort? Makes total financial sense.
