Great review, but I must admit when people show watches side by side, I wish they'd lay them flat on the table without moving them, and having the exact same watch face on them, so we get a better perspective of it's size, and brightness.
I just bought series 6 stainless steel yesterday instead of the 7. Didn’t feel like there was a huge difference so I decided to save some money 😇
same my store was selling series 6 apple watches for only $100 so i was like of course imma buy no need too spend over $400 for a watch that doesn’t have a big different over the last one

I've had the 6 for nearly two years, and I think this will last me for years to come. Battery health 96 and it has been on 24/7 for 21 months. Very happy

@@jordanwilliams1546it’s not about getting new tech, it’s about the tech leap. For example series 4 is the first apple watch to have rounded design and new display. Series 5 is the first to have always on display. Series 7 is the first to have upgraded display, etc. You can just skip the number.
I got this for my grandpa a few months ago and he got pneumonia and covid and passed out by himself as home, the watch alerted the cops and saved his life, they said had he got the the hospital 2 hours later he wouldn’t have made it

Dude I had the series 3 up until this week and was happy enough with that lol. I was cleaning out the pool and it got water damage somehow 🤔 so now I get to upgrade. I feel like going from the 3 to the 6 will be a big enough upgrade for me so I’ll save the $150+ and stick with the 6 instead of the 7. I’ll wait 5 years till they come out with one that will walk my dog. Thanks for the vid. Super helpful :)
I’m in the same boat as you. I have the Series 3 and considering jumping to the Series 6 instead of the 7. I don’t buy new tech models every year because it makes no sense to me, I prefer waiting some years then upgrading to not the newest model but the one behind it to save some money and still get new features.
How do you like the series 6 compared to the series 3?

i just dropped my series 6 in the lake yesterday, i wont be buying another one until the precise location can be turned on. the find your iphone app showed me it was "somewhere within the circle" well the circle encompassed the entire lake.

@@Xdc5 it would have been no more than 15 feet deep from where i was, the problem is only the new apple ultra has the precise location availability.
I keep hearing as a selling point the series 7 is more durable but yet there is not one durability test on RUclips proving that point, right now you reviewers sound like parrots repeating every word Apple says, even calling the watch color Starlight, what is apple making up colors now.
that new display looks nice but you're not going to tell much difference between the 7 and the 6 unless they're side by side. I believe the 6 and 7 also use the same processor too.

They always keep things little changing to catch new sales .... they could hv done already in series 6 but they allow to people huy thag and later they will introduce little changes so peope buy again.... a selling tactic which tied customers to buy again and again.... theh have series 8-9-10 tech already setup believe me

I use the 6 but I do wish I got the SS model which looks/feels really nice, and you can get a used 6 SS for 250 or 7SS for 350 used….. just don’t know if the 100 is worth it

Nice watches just got my first one.. and yes it charges lighting fast!! I tested out how my power bank would work on it and I was impressed! I charged the Watch on it two days on a row and it only used 4% of the power I still got 96%…PSA , off subject but everyone should have a power bank… mines is a 32000mah give me about 5-6 full charges on my phone and about 2 with my iPad…Love it

Nope 41mm is 41mm and 44mm is still 44mm. Use a ruler.

I’ve cracked my Apple 6 screen, and as a result water leaked in and it won’t turn on. Torn between paying £285 for the repair on it, £320 for a new Apple 7, or wait for the Apple 8…

May I ask what convinced you to upgrade? To me, I have the series 5 and still think that the upgrade differences are minimal and not worth the money.
@@jaeronmoreno3224 I was interested in the bigger screen because I have poor vision and it has helped tremendously. I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep it, but now I like it better than my Series 6.

@@studivan it’s the best $425 I’ve ever spent because it just detected AFib. Plus, I’m 55 with vision problems, and it’s helping with that too. The faster charging helps me too. Sounds like someone who just wanted to make a comment without knowing my situation. 🤦♀️

I have a Spigen case on it that I use when I’m at work that was originally for the 6, they said it also fits the 7 and I can confirm it does.

Apple Watch screen protectors are all terrible for many reasons. If you just get a bumper case, the chance the screen ever getting scratched is almost 0. Screens scratch and break when running into doors and falling on it. Micro abrasions almost never happen unless you put you watch with your keys or coins or it goes in the washer and dryer

I don’t understand the minuscule size differences. Instead of 40 and 44, they did 41 and 45? 1mm is barely noticeable.

Just got my series 7, 3 hours ago. So far notifications appeared at times and sometimes doesn’t. And when I was charging I realised my Apple Watch died and won’t turn on till I hard reset it. Idk what’s wrong with it

Mine came from Shanghai, landed in Alaska, when all the way to the east coast than came back west and I got it in NorCal. No telling what you can encounter now.

Series 6 on sale at like Costco and places like that I got one there really nice to have but I would try to get the series 6 on sale because there is not a lot of differences at all

Sounds like software upgrades
People are on a MINIMUM 2 year cycle for Apple Watch, but all these reviewers compare last years to this years , like we are so rich we can get a watch every year. These reviewers are so out of touch

I am currently wearing the very first apple watch. It is truly messing up daily and badly needs to be replaced. So I apparently will wear one forever before replacing it. I don't want to waste money every two years when it still works perfectly fine. My adult daughter is still using her series 3.
@@Brandi-U I upgrade every 2 years so far 😂 . The quality of life improvements between the 1 to the 3 were huge, and then the step up to an always-on display in the Series 5 was game changing. But a bigger and brighter display of the Series 7 made me get it. This might be the Watch I keep for a long time idk. If I need an Apple Watch Series 10 to power my AR Apple Glasses, I’ll have to get it.
Why do people act like you have to be some rich person or something to go from last year’s model to the newest? You can trade in through Apple for one, two, manage your money better. If you can’t afford to upgrade, then you can’t afford it and that’s fine. If you can afford to upgrade, that is fine too. Reviewers aren’t really out of touch. If this video doens’t pertain to you why did you watch to begin with?

As a watch collector would go for the base aluminum model with a basic strap because the watch will be old technology within 5 years. I have a series 7 and like it but if you want to spend big bucks on a watch save up and by a high quality mechanical watch that you can hand down to your son like a Rolex, AP, Breguet, Omega, Patek etc.

I use it for work shift notification when I cannot reply on my phone or when there is a dead signal inside of a building but the message or call goes thru the apple watch. Prompt reply to a time sensitive message means a lot of moolah 💰💰💰 for me 😂. My apple watch is a must!

Some of my fave features- Apple Pay on the wrist, answering or texting using the watch, controlling music and the workout app, as someone with a family history of heart issues the ECG and heart rate monitoring is a great feature as well.

Dont buy the 7. This is not the real 7, they had problem in production so they went back to the 6 and mounted another display. Everything else, including chip, is the same as 6.
