I've lived in Az for almost 30 years now. I don't know how you can deal with the FLA humidity. I cant deal with 20% humidity let alone 100% humidity. That being said when I was a teenager I lived in FLA and it didn't bother me so I reckon at my old age 55 I might be able to get used to it. But the absence of Curved roads and mountains would mess with me. FLA is flat as a pancake and that might be a deal breaker for me after riding mountains for years.
Most of us motorcycle travelers don’t stay in our “winter home” during the summer. That said, yes it’s flat but I get my fill of twisties/mountains when up north for 5-7 months out of the year … ✌️✌️

Hey Jess, hope you enjoy your trip to the Keys! My dad and I made the trip to Key West on our bikes last May. We went down to Panama City and followed the west coast all the way to Key West and then came back up the east coast on the A1A through Jacksonville. Ran into a couple severe thunderstorms but that's par for the course in Florida. Good times!
Loved the way you casually blew the cars away from the traffic lights whilst chatting to the camera…Go Jess Go!!! A trip to the Ace Cafe in London is on the cards this year too 🇬🇧 On my 1200 Scrambler😁 Loving your vids Jess so keep’em coming
You passed my place in the beginning! Welcome to the neighborhood!!! Gator spotting is a cool pastime. Have been in FL for 4 years and my wife still has yet to see one😁
From Ocala to the Keys was a ausom ride. Check out the other island's along the way there. Once in the Keys watch out for the chickens and the deer also ,just enjoy the sunset, it's ausom. Be safe.
A lot of people don’t realize that you don’t use the pressure listed on the tire. Those are maximum pressures. Either the manuel or if it has a sticker. Just thinking that 42 front might be the maximum. 😎😎
65F sure beats 30F. In Florida, you can get pulled over for driving the speed limit for impeding traffic. 15 to 20 mph close to the limit is usually OK
I've been to FL maybe 3 or 4 times and have never been a fan, the heat and humidity just hit different than it does here in IL (which is awful for more reasons than the weather)... but the more I watch you and Pro Monkey, especially now in winter time, I'm becoming more and more convinced that I should listen to the wife and we need to pack the bags and move down there. She can have her beaches and I can have year round riding, lol
Watched your RUclips channel since the beginning. I just noticed you use a 110 volt tire inflator. Not sponsored!! But I wish I had discovered this years ago…DRIVEMO tire inflator on Amazon. I think it was $90.00. Runs on lithium ion batteries, charged via 9 volt or usb (cords included). Very light, packs away in a pouch 3 in X 5 in X 8.25 in pouch. Keep it in your bags when traveling. Has different inflation modes, car, motorcycle, bicycle or sports equipment ie, football, soccer ball etc. Inflates I believe up to 150 psi. Inflates in 1/2 pound increments. Auto shutoff. One charge of the unit will last a long time. I think the description on Amazon says you can inflate 3 car tires from 0 to 35 psi in one charge. So inflating you bike tires a few pounds every few weeks is nothing. This unit is really well built. No more dragging out an extension card! No more needing a 110 outlet. I promise you will be happy should you get it. Powerful and pretty quiet too!! I’m guessing…puts 2 lbs of air into a bike tire in approximately, I’m guessing, 20 seconds. It’s so easy to use, dragging out the extension cord is a thing of the past! Freaking awesome!! Safe Rides!!!!
I remember when we did a ride to the keys from SW Florida in a weekend in the middle of June and we got caught up in traffic at Isla morada almost Al the way down to the keys and our bikes was screaming overheating it was awful time. The best time to go down there are during the week days and stay away from summer temperatures 🔥🔥🔥 if you get a chance go have some lunch at El Meson De PePe's Cuban restaurant is the best in town as far is Spanish food and great atmosphere. 3:00 yup... thats florida... and as you likely found out closer to my neck of the woods (Miami) headed to Key West... we have the horrible mix of 30 over, 1st-time-american drivers from lawless countries, and this time of year, a LOT of snow-bird retirees that drive 20 under..... it makes it a serious pain to do anything.
Great! I swear I was going to suggest that trip to you while you are in Fl. I have made it several times on my bike and it's beautiful fun ride! Have fun!
You're from Ohio and are always on the lookout for the OSHP. So strict here in Ohio when I travel to other states doing the "speed-limit" and getting passed like I'm standing still. Other state patrols even call ours the Gestapo lol!! Keep up with the flow I guess!!!! stay safe!!
Did a trip a couple years ago from IL to Western PA... the most anxiety ridden drive was through the lower part of Ohio, I think we counted like 27 troopers in that stretch of highway between state lines, it was crazy.
As a Northern transplant to FL. I hear a lot of my experience in what you're saying. I am now 7 years in... We drive/ride fast here. It becomes normal. You have to if you want to get anywhere. I have also driven/riden to the keys from closer than Orlando more than once. It's a long ride. The winters are awesome, the Sumners especially on a bike, brutal. Enjoy your time here. My bike is down from Hurricane Ian flood damage or I would be out daily now too. I see theres a nice group of You tubers riding here. Hope to be out again soon and run into them. Safe travels. I think I am ok NY an hour from Ace, just haven't made it there. This is my video number 3!
The thing to remember about tires is the pressure is "pounds per square inch." Lets say you had a tiny tire that only had 10 square inches of rubber, and you put 50 PSI in it. Thats actually 50 times 10 square inches. So the total amount of energy in that tire pushing out on its skin is 500 pounds. But if you had a tire twice as big with 20 square inches of rubber, and you put the same 50 psi in to it, in that tire it would be 50 times 20 square inches. So now we have 1000 pounds of energy pushing out on the skin of that tire. So the same amount of air, but the small one would hold a lot less weight, and the bigger one would need to be a whole lot stronger to not explode. So in reality, we put more air pressure in smaller tires than we do in bigger ones to offset the surface area of the tire an make them contain roughly the same amount of energy to hold up the same weight. Say you have a one ton truck. The little factory tires hold roughly 80 PSI to hold the trucks weight an its 2K pound cargo capacity. Now you lift it and cram big 38 inch mud tires on it. The truck didnt really get any heavier, so you have to run way less air pressure in those big tires. 30 psi would probably be enough to not only hold the truck but the extra 2K pounds of cargo its rated to hall. Thats why the sticker on the door becomes meaningless once you start changing tire sizes. That tire pressure sticker only applies to the factory size tires that are usually also listed on that sticker. You start getting in to some serouse complicated math. Or you mark your tires an watch the how the marks wear off the tread, then adjust till the marks wear off evenly.
You mentioned lots of traffic. If you continue to come down here you will eventually learn to get out and away from Orlando! Get up into Lake county or anywhere to the North of Orlando........and relax!! Orlando and Tampa both are way too busy to see much of what Florida really has to offer. Keep smiling!

My neighbor across the street has a lake behind his house and it is home to a 12' gater. I saw it one day and it is a monster. Come to NC... they're all over the freaking place.
Where did that air pressure number come from. If that is the number that is on the side of the tire, it is max inflation not the recommended psi for normal riding. Rarely is a MC tire that high. Just checking.
You could be a halfback, meaning like my mom, would go from Michigan to Florida for the winters, snowbird, one time she made it about half way back to Michigan and stayed, halfback!
the important thing is to keep up the enthusiasm, I always pray that I will be healthy, always happy, stay focused with positive thinking that is done every day, is running now

If you didn't see my recommendation in another vid's comment look up CIRCLE B BAR RESERVE down by Lakeland. And see as many wild gators as you can handle as well as herons, egrets, and many other birds up close and personal.
That would be a great idea to get myself a passport, rent an Airbnb for a few weeks and at least be able to ride for those weeks instead of being stuck in deep snow in Canada! ;)
My dream! Im working on my plans and would love to discuss it with you and get any pointers you can offer. I dont want to air it in here. Im 51 with health issues and really want to live this out before I am unable. I am working on a name and email for my channel to start. Thank you so much for the inspiration! !
Here in Florida the cops generally don't mess with you unless you're doing 15 or more over. I can't count all of the times that I've been passed by a cop when I was doing 10 over
It was definitely interesting to watch the moto life in Florida. Gators, Pythons, and Monitor Lizards. Fine Florida attractions but I think I want to live where I'm at the top of the food chain. Living in Florida.... probably not my cup of tea. Seeing all the people at bike night just made me uncomfortable. If I move from the sticks it will likely be somewhere more remote. But if you want to ride all the time then that warm weather would be nice. Are there any twisty roads there?
2 things Jess, 1) unless you are blatent, the Police generally leave you alone if you are from out of state, They want you to have a good time and spend your money. Florida is all about tourism and having a good time, so you come back and spend more money. Swcond, they have a lot more high end crime, and you are small potatoes to them.
Nice video but wish you showed some of the unique bikes at the Ace Cafe. (I expected to see some nice old British cafe racers there.) Have a safe trip to the Keys.

Stuck in Michigan. Living vicariously through you. You have fun and so will I. P.S.: I like BBQ.
Yeah Florida traffic laws are more of suggestions. Especially on the turnpike. LOL.
If you didn't see my recommendation in another vid's comment look up CIRCLE B BAR RESERVE down by Lakeland. And see as many wild gators as you can handle as well as herons, egrets, and many other birds up close and personal.
You guys are moving in the right direction :)
That would be a great idea to get myself a passport, rent an Airbnb for a few weeks and at least be able to ride for those weeks instead of being stuck in deep snow in Canada! ;)
Alligators ➡️ Everglades Tamiani Trail ➡️ stop anywhere with water 🐊 ☀️
Favor? Ride to Gulf Breeze and let me know if you see UFO's. Have your cams ready!!!! ;)
Man, I just look forward every time a video comes up with her2wheels on my phone, also Jess I've just subscribed to Jordan's channel as well🤙👍
My dream! Im working on my plans and would love to discuss it with you and get any pointers you can offer. I dont want to air it in here. Im 51 with health issues and really want to live this out before I am unable. I am working on a name and email for my channel to start. Thank you so much for the inspiration! !
Jess you should come to Winter Haven and ride around the orange groves that’s where I spend my riding time
Love watching your videos.
The cop was in a rush to stop anyone, he's going to get his coffee and fresh donuts.
You seem so happy…love the content!
Excellent video Jess. bravo !
You will love the keys took my bike down their in 2018 from Maryland was a long ride but want to go back
You're going to the KEYS??!?!?!?!?!??! UGH!!! I just can't be there enough. Once a year is not enough. Go as far around Miami as you can!!!
I felt a large amount of disappointment that the truck didn’t get pulled over.
Jess, a few more "accidents" on the BMW with some dings and scratches they might sell it to you cheap.. 😉
And now, off to see Jordans video too.
@HerTwoWheels >>> You want _BMW_ to mean _"Be MY Wheels."_ 😉
That just means that you aren't going fast enough, cruise with the flow of traffic
Have a great time in Florida and be safe!
Thank you! Will do!
Go to bike night at the quaker steak and lube in Saint Petersburg! Awesome place and killer wings!
Sounds fun!
Why did you change to a Beeema? (BMW) nice looking bike im just curious 👍
Got out today here in Iowa. 56 degrees. Had a few tornadoes in eastern Iowa today. Crazy weather.
Cops most of the time are just running from call to call and don’t have any time to mess with traffic violations. It was like that when I retired 😎😎
Jess you're having a lot of fun there and enjoying it and be careful there
Florida is great now but come May-Oct not so great HOT weather
2 things Jess, 1) unless you are blatent, the Police generally leave you alone if you are from out of state, They want you to have a good time and spend your money. Florida is all about tourism and having a good time, so you come back and spend more money. Swcond, they have a lot more high end crime, and you are small potatoes to them.
Both of my tires take 42lbs!
I run 40 pounds in both my tires helps prevent cupping on the front
Nice video but wish you showed some of the unique bikes at the Ace Cafe. (I expected to see some nice old British cafe racers there.) Have a safe trip to the Keys.
I spent the entire night waiting for food 😂 note to self… eat BEFORE bike night…
