They said fugaku couldve controlled the ninetails too so idk the uchiha were just going to overthrow the leadership and it would take days for all the other villages to try to attack i mean they couldve went to the village right after the ninetails attack

This song makes so much sense for him. It's what Itachi would've said to faith with all the he has to do in his entire life. And him pleading to be just his true loving kind self and of the could have been life he lived if not for the rotten politics in Konoha.. 😭 I cannot imagine the pain he has to endure knowing that he was the one who had to end the lives of the people he loves and they understood. His father even said he was proud of him right before he died. I mean, how do you deal with that pain of helplessness and guilt and grief at the same time? And as if it wasn't enough, the one person he loves the most needed to hate him. It must've killed him on the inside to have to act the cruelty out just to make sure his brother gets stronger. And yet, at the end of it all, he died as a villain to his brother's and Konoha's eyes. He did not ask for anything in return, he was willing to live an entire life of suffering for the greater good. But I wish he was given a chance to live happily. It's so unfair.
Two legends who died much too soon. Yet both left legacies to carry on for generations to come. May them both finally have found the peace they so deserve.😔

And then the song goes "Cause everything that you thought I would be, has fallen apart, right infront of you" while Itachi pierces the uchiha crest with a kunai knife. It's sick!

It was the biggest plot twist in all of Naruto. For a freakin long time we were lead to believe that Itachi was a heartless bastard that killed his family just to see if he could. Then after he died every action he's ever taken is explained and the true Itachi emerges. It defiantly increases his level of badass while at the same time making you realize that he had one of the saddest lifes in all of Naruto.
