Enjoying your trip to Rize - hopefully future generations of families will continue the Tea production. Such a beautiful area & Turkish Tea is the best even in Australia I buy imported Turkish Tea.❤👏🇦🇺
As a Turkish I really appreciate that you've learned Turkish which is excellent and filming the cities by explaining all the futures. To be honest impressed. Lovely couple, so cute, kind approach, understandable language and positive life style. I really enjoy watching your videos while studying in the UK so I am not homesick anymore thanks to you:) Best wishes for you and take care!!
Damn! 80 pounds on wards a night at Riza is startling. Nonetheless, I'm in love with the Riza and Trabzon region, in general. That teapot and tea cup fountain represent very much their tea culture. The giant Turkish tea glass tower is another landmark. Thank you for having taken us with you virtually through the sights of marvellous Trabzon ❤
The real season of hamsi starts after November; actually when the cold winter streams started. Best time is when snow falls on the surface of Blacksea.
Dear Mick, I am truly amazed by your Turkish language skills.🧿You could easily communicate with the local people despite their heavy accent, which is sometimes hard even for me (as a Turk) to understand.
Selamlar 👋
Hamsi is one of my favourite fish. The season starts in June and lasts a couple of months. After that it is said to grow too big and to be less delicate. So, the fish mongers might still sell it now in the autumn, but the restaurants will not serve it.
Greetings Mick and Trudie. We are followers of your beautiful channel. We heard about an earthquake in your area and we are just checking on you. Farid
Rize was on my program at most, but I was so tired of traveling by buses from Georgia through Turkey to Bulgaria that I also excluded one-day trips from Trabzon to Panagea Sumela and Rize from my program. I like tea fro Rize, drank it in Georgia and Turkey.
It is very natural that Mick restaurant does not serve you anchovies because anchovies are very tasteless and almost like straw in these months. My mother is from the Black Sea region and we never eat anchovy this season. The weather is not cold yet and the sea is still warm. Anchovy must be exposed to cold weather and cold sea, its meat must be oiled. That's when the taste of anchovy reaches its peak. Anchovy is eaten in December, January and February. For your information, good friends.👈👍🙂🥰

Rize's nature is unmatched. Those tea farms are looking very good.
I love the fact that Restaurants in Türkiye are open till late. You can eat anything you want late at night

Excellent and informative video. You are a tourism ambassador of Turkiye.
Wonderful vid and the scenery looks like mountains and valleys of Switzerland; I will have to order some Turkish tea! Be safe and dine on!
