I'm glad I found this. As a life-long Beatles fan, I am always glad to see the reactions of first-time Beatles listeners. I'll be following your progress. Enjoy the ride!
I still can feel how I felt as a 5th grader hearing and falling in love with the song. 1964-1974 was a musical renaissance, where the best and most high quality masterpieces were created. Largely because of these gentlemen.
I was a teenager when the Beatles exploded on the music scene! They were hugely innovative and changing music so fast. Everyone had tvs by then so we got to see our musicians on variety shows when they were on top of the charts. This generation changed things a lot because of the availability of shows like those in the 60’s and 70’s 😜👵🏼☮️
You are blown away just like we were in the 60s when there was nothing like these guys anywhere and then suddenly they appear. So different from everybody else in music.
@@patticrichton1135Most of the so-called music that has been pumped out like raw sewage. By the so called music and recording industry. Over the last three or four decades or so in this country. Has been nothing but a complete and utter disappointment.
I always recommend the later period songs. Don't Let Me Down, Hey Jude, Come Together.... For early period songs, In My Life, I Should Have Known Better, And I Love Her....
Beatlemania forced the Beatles to stop touring -- the crowds drowned out their music. They changed to production from the studio and became much more experimental ... and it changed popular music forever. You might want to check out a song from their last public performance as a group, before breaking up: the version of "Get Back" they performed on the roof of their studio. Outstanding!
Great song for your first Beatles tune. This was a single in '65, they were between LP a NB d record Co.neededa hit. I think the B side is "Paperback Writer" which also was a hit. The two singers are Paul McCartney, lead vocals + John Lennon harmony+ piano. They are the song writing team for the majority of Beatles songs. This is from 1965, you can tell by the appearance/style. About to make the "Rubber Soul" record. Try the songs ,"Taxman" or "Help" . Born in 1953 BTW
You are a very intelligent and cool guy. Keep on discovering the Beatles, they have so many good songs and you will like alot of them, believe me. If you feel bad or sad and you need some uplifting, try "Let It Be" for example. You will see what I mean. Even in my class the guys wanted to hear the song again after I played it to them 😁It was like a gospel / church rock hope song.
There's A LOT of songs you should check out by them e.g: Eleanor Rigby, Because, The Fool on the Hill, Savoy Truffle (2018 mix), Piggies, Michelle, Back in the U.S.S.R + Dear Prudence (the first transitions to the second), Yesterday, and many more! It's my favorite band, out of 200+ songs they did, I like about 50 or 60 (which is a lot, since I'm very picky with my music). Anyway, great reaction! I hope you keep this up
Great reaction 😉 Love this song and love The Beatles 🥰 Great musicians! ❤💪 Try also: Something, While my guitar gently weeps, Here comes the sun, A day in the life, Revolution, Help, Nowhere man... ¡Saludos, desde Argentina!
The Beatles are the best R&R band ever, listen to "Don't Let Me Down" live rooftop concert. The music of the 60s was the best in history, the music you listen to today is trash.
I don't think I've ever seen this video. However, if you're going to join the journey of following the Beatles, start from a hard days night album and watch how they grow bigger throughout the years. You're in for a treat, my friend. ✌️
WHY do so many people insist on starting 2 albums later??? He needs to start from the BEGINNING with their FIRST album "PLEASE PLEASE ME" then their SECOND album "WITH THE BEATLES" THEN go to "A HARD DAY"S NIGHT" and keep going chronologically in order as the rest of the albums were released! Their first 2 albums should NEVER be skipped and discounted. NEWS FLASH **** It was those first 2 albums that MADE them WILDLY POPULAR and caused "BEATLEMANIA" in the first place! They sounded SO DIFFERENT than ANYTHING we had heard before. (Plus ONCE we SAW them, we had never seen anyone LOOK like they did, before, and that was ALSO what made them so unique and POPULAR.) Without those first 2 albums, there wouldn't have been the intense popularity that instantly arose amongst teens and kids. "A Hard Day's Night" album and the ones that followed would NEVER have happened! He will appreciate how much they evolved and progressed MORE by starting at the VERY BEGINNING, not with the 3rd album. People just discovering the Beatles music NEED to HEAR it the SAME WAY we "first generation fans" heard it in REAL TIME back then.
@patticrichton1135 you are absolutely right. I was going by my own experience. I was introduced to them from the movie, "A hard days night." And I was hooked. I actually became a musician because of them, as I'm sure many did. Thanks for your input and information. ✌️
Wow, this was your first Beatles song? Lucky you, you have a whole lot of their material to experience.
They are still the biggest selling group of all times.

65 to 66 were the coolest looking period for the Beatles
They are their own Genre!!!!
Keep on going with the Beatles my friend. You have some wonderful.music to hear for the first time.
The Beatles are the best! You just don't know it yet😮😊!
I will watch any future reactions you do by the Beatles - such an exploration you may be on the edge of!

That's why they're the GOAT!
This has always been one of my favorite Beatles songs! Love it!
Your review of this song was very good. Great job!
Welcome to the world of the 60s. I hope you take a deep dive into the Beatles catalog.
🔥one of my favorite Beatles songs, Paul's voice is amazing on this. another great one is "Come Together"
What an amazing downtempo triplet link of George!
You are blown away just like we were in the 60s when there was nothing like these guys anywhere and then suddenly they appear.
So different from everybody else in music.
Good analysis of the lyrics.
It sure seems like you love this song King , well there are a couple hundred more you must check out and that' just as the Beatles .
1960s actually. They started is all. 🙂
Great reaction. 🤎
Best wishes from Germany
The best music was in the 1960s and 70s. You need to change your opinion about "old" music. It was much better than today's "music."
ABSOLUTELY!! I was going to point that out as well. The '60s and '70s music was FANTASTIC, much better than most of what is out today.
Definitely 💯
Agree. Besides, anything from the 20th century isn't old. Mozart and Beethoven are old music !!
So true!!!!!!❤️

everything in the 1960s sounded good
Lack of world experience : stunning
Stevie Wonder did a great cover of this song back then.
This song really demonstrates how McCartney's style and Lennon's style, while quite different, mesh together perfectly!

Yes, it was recorded in 1960’s. Want to blow your mind? Listen to a song called “Tomorrow never knows’. 1966
❤❤❤❤❤❤

The B-side (actually a Double-A) was Day Tripper.
You'll like Come Together
Nice reaction! Hope you decide to check out more Beatles in the future. You would definitely enjoy "Let it Be".❤
More Beatles please!

New subscriber and lifelong Beatles fan. Please hear the Beatles/Something😮😊
No doubt the master tape was transferred to digital media before it degraded so a fresher remix was possible. It's still the original.
The Beatles never preformed in the 1970’s. The band broke up in the 1960s.
they broke up by 1970

Almost all their music makes no sense for the time. Keep digging and you're going to be baffled, It actually gets crazier.
