Theresa said that she was the only one willing to fight and deal with their issues and put the burden on Simon; Theresa and her mother upped and ran away after Percy told her Simon quit his job and left Simon and Percy to then come to them so that they could finally talk - Theresa seriously thought that Simon wasn’t in this with her and wasn’t willing to fight and figure things and thought he was gonna quit on her when that was her, she called off the engagement.
