Simmonds and Lula are in my top 3 too
I'm glad you like the Booth 8. I find it similar to Lula
Have you ever had Nishikawa, I've never heard you mention it in a video, Alex told me it was one of his favorites, have you tasted it?
Very exciting to hear of all the avocados, Paul. Enjoy!
Paul you should get a couple of brooks late avocados from Julian lara and make a tasting video , this is the latest season avocado in south florida (late Dec _ early March) . Is a good tasting avocado but it is small and a big seed . LARA likes it. Alex from tropical acres has a tree .
Ive tried the Simmonds several times and i find them to be just watery not creamy at all.
Hi Paul, I hope all is well. What do you think about the Wurtz Avocado? Blessings
Hi I don't remember trying it
I had the same question. Looking for a dwarf tree and it seems to be recommended for size, but haven’t seen many reviews of the taste.
I absolutely love Markus Pumpkin. I had a Lula tree for years. It was good but not the best for me. It’s known to tolerate cooler weather. I’m waiting for my Oro Negro to give me fruit.
Don't forget the Bumpy!
Thanks for the video, blessings
Thoughts on "Joey" looking into it for it's cold tolerance....
You forgot Bumpycado…best tasting avocado EVER!
Thanks for the new video
Can anybody recommend the best type of fruit protection bag 2 get?? Any special type of brand or size bag???
I'm sorry you didn't get to taste the Poole or the Barbara but maybe we can do it next year.
I recently added a Maria Black to my backyard... you still loving this variety?
Yes I forgot to mention Maria black. An excellent midseason Avocado
What flower type (A or B) are the Ronnie and ApMay? I wish Julian would put more info on their website about their varieties. There's hardly any info.
What about the new lara purple or purple simmond?
the lara purple is really good I don't remember trying the other
@ it is the same, I think Lara calls it lara purple or purple simmond …
Paul I only play your video for the intro music.
I might have to switch my ON to a Ronnie. Remember don’t wait too long because it won’t flower
Hi Paul, Great video! Quick question: Are longan trees worth growing in a small yard?
no they grow too big
Hi Paul, is there a reason why you don't do more grafting on your avocados? You mentioned that you don't need that many trees, so if you just want the variety then why don't you just multiple graft the trees that you have and use the space for other different fruit trees?
the plan is to graft onto them just like you said
You need to go to fruit and spice park and try the Semil 55 avocado. It is hands down the best avocado in Florida. For some reason no nursery has any for sale. I really think it should be propagated and sold.
I forgot to add that this variety is ready in December-Jan based on what I saw at fruit and spice park.
Can you give us a description of this avocado? We know where to get budwood if we want to propagate it! Is it plainly labeled?
@@johnbanach3875 Btw, I tried replying to your comment twice and neither show up. Just in case it seems odd that there are two similar comments.
@@johnbanach3875 The comments are still not showing up for me. Anyways, in short; the tree is labeled and you should be able to find it easily in the avocado area of the park.
@@Tropicplant Small, medium, or large avocado? Big or small seed? Peels easily? Stays green or turns black when ripe? The tree is vigorous or moderate?
Hi Paul. What do you think of Nishikawa??
I only had it one time but I can't give the best answer because I don't remember
😂😂
