I was so pissed they ran the girls during the shittiest conditions. WSL is so mismanaged and misguided. It was a mockery to the women making them surf Sunset with those conditions. Your Hawaii campaign was a good one, good way to start the season for sure!

Hawaii is great but also tricky and demanding, you’re spot on - music, pre session warm up and companies really should hire you to model their wetsuits lines
You and hubby are natural and comfortable in front of camera .Great content and insight into pro surfers lives. Surfing your best for 30 minutes in a singlet is not easy. Good luck in Portugal
Hi Lakey first of all congratulation for what conquer are sunset your surfing amazing. I have an observation watching this last video I noticed that in your free surfing sessions you look more loose and when you are competing you look more stif, check it out.
Tricky conditions and a few upsets. You look great in your free surfs just had to bring that style and power to your heat but unfortunately waves didn’t cooperate. You got Portugal!

Like when you first started competing how did you get into your first big contest? The only thing that I know of is anyone can enter Vans Triple Crown of Surfing and if they win the get to go to Pipe Masters, but that is newer with the video submission and they might not do it forever. It’s such a hard one when it comes to judges. I feel like they are normally on it but every now and again you feel a little hard done by
