There's definitely a significant difference between how FL and CC play. For many reasons, I prefer FL, one of which is its general similarity to PvE. CC is much annoying to constantly track because the enemy info is completely visible like your own party list, so the best players would easily take advantage of this. I also personally hate CC's map effects, they more often than not seem to simply get in the way of fair fights enemies.
