It's such a privilege to be able to share these moments with the mums to be and the wonderful midwives that make it so special.

The scenery is stunning in Scotland but conditions can often be harsh and homes remote. What a special job these midwives do inspiring confidence and strength to the expectant families. I do love the Highland cattle at the beginning of the video and the little dog with the blue eyes.

I am so Blessed that I had the same doctor and nurse be with me at the birth of both of my children here in the United States, Tennessee. It made me more comfortable when I had to have an emergency c-section with my son.

These women who are hospital/needle phobic and laugh about it need to to get professional help so they won't have to go through that

The woman in this episode is at least handling it better than the one next episode , the one titled needle phobia which is already uploaded . At least she lets the midwife take the blood . The one in the preview to the next episode there was no getting her to agree to anything needle related .

50 and 48 years ago I gave birth without any medication. I did not want my babies to be drugged in any way. especially because the drugs and sleepy-ness effects the babies ability and interest in breast feeding. I took an intense training called the Lamaze Childbirth Method which not only educated me and helped me to learn the breathing and relaxation techniques that enabled me to give birth this way. I am deeply saddened that current medical system has gone away from natural childbirth to a highly orchestrated birth process where people willingly schedule their births.

Never judge, a healthy outcome is what's important. My daughter had to have medical intervention unkind judgement is rather cruel she has now has two bonne, healthy and extremely intelligent bairns.
