I really like this nimation because it shows the story in a positive way-colours are soft and bright, Wander has a calm face and there is no blood or Wander's slow transformation showing.
This is one of only a few shadow of the colossus animations on youtube and I got to say that this is probably the best, Its like it was made into an anime and this is its premear. ITS THAT GOOD

Fantastic job. For some reason, the brief underwater part was pretty magical to me. Loved how you captured all the colossus battles. Also loved 1:20-end. Marvelous ... this is the second great SoTC amatuer animations I've seen; this game inspires!!
in the time i had to do this film, we were expected to have 45 seconds of black and white pencil test as a finished result. so yeah i'd say it was a combination of time limitations and it being the first thing i ever seriously animated, i guess??

I'm planning on applying to SVA for the 2009-2010 year in animation or illustration, and it's always wonderful to see students producing masterpieces. I saw this via Merulu's livejournal, and just thought I'd say you've got a lot of sheer talent here. Especially for something that you did with just Photoshop and Aftereffects! I love how you even went through all of the Colossi. That game (and this as well) was truly beautiful.

Also, the wanderer is not the main character of ICO. SotC is considered a prequel to ICO, not a sequel, and I believe the creators stated that the horned baby at the end of the game is "the first child born with horns." If I remember right, in ICO's time, there had been many other horned children.
Excellent composition and cinematics. But was the frame rate low because of time limitations or were you going for the '80's saturday-morning-cartoon look?
