9:50 what you saw was not a manta ray. It was most likey an eagle ray or bat ray. Manta rays are huge, between 15-30ft wide and are in deeper ocean water. Definitely not a manta ray. But cool sighting none the less.
Cool video of the rays! I assume your injury was not a stingray sting?? Steve's Uncle Barry always advised against swimming in the ocean after dark because "That's when all the big things feed."
I have learned from my all inclusive experiences that I have to pack snacks. After I spent $12 on doritos and a pack of m&ms in Jamaica... Never again. My friends laughed at me until they too got 3am snacks. 🙂
@@franktate1482 I'm sorry...I should've clarified that I went to the gas station by the resort (Riu in Montego Bay). The resort's idea of snacks was dry, stale popcorn and things from the buffet and one small can of pringles
Why do bloggers feel the need to include their face in most every shot? Let's see the surroundings. How about that? Its beautiful! Thanks for information though.
Jamaica is a nice if you stay in the hotels and excursion/tourist trip zones. Venture out into the parishes and tourists will see poverty beyond belief (it's shocking). That's when reality hits home. This hotel is around 4 star but not 5 star. It has too many glitches. In my opinion St Lucia is several steps above Jamaica for a holiday in the tropics. It's easier to get around and is more organized and suave. I'm going back to St Lucia soon
This was the bedst review I have seen so far, thank you ! You gave actual info about the resort.
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching!
