Agreed -- I never even heard of the X series until now, and I still don't understand what the difference is. I'm tired of these "buzz" words like personality, character, etc...WTF does that even mean? Give us some statistics that can actually be measured, like output, highs, mids, lows, and compare / contrast them so we can actually understand what is going on here, rather than using these buzz words that are simply one person's opinion of a description of sound, rather than scientific properties of sound.

How to make a demo, according to EMGtv:
1. Distort the signal to oblivion.
2. Add delay that doesn't have a purpose and that doesn't even sound good.
3. Record using an interface from 1956
4. Fuck up every note you play.
5. Play atonally.

I don't know about the pickups but his sound is pure 100% crap, and his playing is also a blurry mess. And I love shred, so am not dissing him for playing fast.

fretwork tolerances on lowend ltds wont hold up to speedy, low action shreds. tried n true.
wanna shred? buy a used proper japanese axe (can be had at new ltd prices or cheaper... and vs used ltd price, well, you'll spend more on all the fret and neckwork needed to make the ltd playable fast)

I think this guy can play but as far as Tone and if someone is a great player or not?? Is subjective to preference. I love shred guitar but I always love BB King so it's two different worlds. I dig emg pups, buy I know a lot of people who can't stand them? It's just preference. Stop all the hating on each other and just play man. Peace
