Huddison, you've remained upbeat throughout Asobo's problems with FS2024. I think this flight sim will progress into everything FS2020 tried to be but wasn't. You and other folks like you help make the skies a little friendlier. Quite a lot friendlier, actually. Thank you for all that. ... I'm an old guy. I'm looking forward to flying bush planes along routes I've traveled in both the USA and Europe. The catharsis is staggering.
One of the first things I said I'd do was land at my nearest shopping centre/park area, then walk to my house about 1.5 miles away. I've done it quite a few times in real life but like you, I haven't got around to it in the sim yet. Also used to go Skeggy a lot after grandparenrs retired there. I was going to do the walk from their bungalow to the beach and along the seafront, just like we did as kids/teens many decades ago.
Hudds ... Wishing you a Happy New Year. Thanks for all the great instructional and informative videos during the 2023. 🎉 A person who connects with ordinary users you are.
I'd like to learn how to really fly a plane in the game, rather than get up and go, use the towers, turn on planes from cold and dark, etc. I'm learning very slowly, but part of that is a lack of motivation.
Maybe something like start cold and dark normal that includes the full walk-around etc. then a cold and dark in-cockpit option in the future would give everyone the freedom to choose
Love the video and the landing at Buck Palace.. like another viewer I was expecting you to land right inside the palace walls lol😂 For me 2025 is going to be all about continuing to have fun. I'm really enjoying the sim and look forward to whatever improvements are to come. Especially looking forward to the Marketplace opening 😊 First and foremost I'll be continuing my tour of all the MLB and NFL stadiums.. not shortcutting anything by morphing to nearby airports but actually flying from one to the other in squence. Just finished Detroit to Milwaukee to Green Bay. Really having fun with this. Also plan to start flying helicopters very early in this New Year. Never tried them before so will be looking for some tutorial videos to get started. Career mode will be on my near horizon too... just waiting for a few things to settle with that before I dip my toes in. Walking around some familiar areas local to me is also something I'm going to be doing. Should be fun finding my way around. I'm also going to try to land inside Olympic Stadium, home of my beloved Hammers lol. That'll do for starters 👍
It was fly round London between LHR and City airport once I get superfast Fibre to allow the buildings to load in properly. That happened today. I have to say I'm disappointed. The extra stuff it loaded in at 6x internet speed from before only made everything go really choppy. Perhaps 32GB isn't enough RAM. I now see what everyone was talking about with choppy frame rates round airports. Looks like a 30mbps speed was actually a good thing. Aside from this, I still saw the odd building and tree looking like a PS1 game. And with all the extra speed I still get the "Cannot connect to live air traffic data" sometimes. Ships and planes load in a lot quicker though.
Not leaving 2020 till I get a new gaming machine some day! 😊 Mr. H...how did you not want to fly thru the decorations, wow!😊I’d like to see the model of aircraft that people are really flying! Tired of helicopters that show up as a floating low wing airplane!😮
@Huddison Happy new year to you. When do you think you'll be doing a video about "Hotas One bindings for Helicopters" as your video about bindings for fixed wing aircraft is brilliant and has been a great help to myself and many others, I should imagine. Please consider this ask, and in the meantime, I'll continue watching the other great Flight Sim 2024 videos you release. Thanks.
I’m hoping for improvements in career mode, like more variety in missions and being to do missions from my home airport. Photogrammetry needs major improvements. Many popular areas look like they’re melted. More stability. I am tired of doing a 3 hour flight and then my sim crashing. I want to be able to have fun without worrying if my sim will crash.
I have been flying the Fenix in 2024. I want to learn helicopters in this sim. I tried to set up profiles yesterday and ended up, unable to even start the Cabri and the H145 was doing cartwheels and had a mind of its own. So my bucket list is to master the 2024 controls settings.
@@CFWSILAT I do have London Landmarks installed in FS2020 (via the Marketplace); I'm not certain if they are being streamed in FS2024 - my library says otherwise.
Unfortunately for a lot of us msfs2024 is far from being what it should be I admire your enthusiasm for it but for now quite happily sticking to 2020 far to many bugs in 2024 not my PC to blame I think it awful. So can't get to excited with it at the moment will stay well clear of it until they sort it. Happy new year huddison.
Bought it on day one release for Xbox and it been nothing but trouble doesn’t load all the way… now I’m getting this license notification required so yeah real disappointed
I'll return to the garme when I can actually use the Content I paid for without experiencing Missing sounds on Certain Aircraft and SIM Crashes Having a actual Up to date Ireland would be nice in 2025
#1. Getting past the 'Customize Identity" screen.

I’m having a difficult time getting to your discord page.

I'm hoping for options in the near future that will allow us all to do that and skip the parts we're not interested in.

Happy new year to you and looking forward to your great contribution to MSFS 2024 in 2025😊
A Very Happy New Year to you Dave 🎉

I typically do fly through the decorations ;)

Happy New Year. That one is in the 'thought bank'.
U didn't get that Virpil collective yet? ;) it makes heli flying in VR incredible, I barely ever get in a plane now. HNY Huddison!
Still need to get the collective - Happy New Year!

I will aim to get my own Chopper controls video out.
@@HuddisonI'll definetly be straight on that when you do.. helicopters are one of the things on my list 😊
Can you tell me what you assigned for cyclic trim?
I can't find any way to trim out the cyclic forces which makes flying helicopters painful.
I don't think I have so far; I will look into making my deeper Chopper bindings setup video soon.
Very cool video, how do you get you buildings to look like that, I'm running a 4080 and nothing like that.
I think my fast internet helps.
@Huddison is that orbx scenery you have.

Very true to real life 😆

What I most want it to do is work without bugs especially in VR.
Hopefully in 2025 will be able to pan the view in cockpit which I did get briefly but gone again, still loving the sim,the future is bright😊
It is indeed :)
You know if new year fireworks 🎆 will be available in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024?
They should eh.
Hudds ... Maybe you should've turned off the helicopter engine 😂. Could've been nicked.
lol yes, got to watch it around London 😆

Change the name to MSFS 20205 - it already feels out of date!

keep supporting 2020 and give back the money who all got stuck with 2024 and start over my wish
Fair enough Mike - Happy New Year.

Mfs2024 is a trash game now 2020 much beter
Here is one big giant DISAGREE and thumbs down on your comment too.
Visit the Costa and Burger King at East Midlands Airport in first person mode
I should do that.
I think first on most people's bucket list, would be to uninstall this total piece of crap!
