- Here we are building and checking out the arcade 1up claw machine - which we are using as an advent calendar this year #arcade #arcade1up #retrogaming #retro #redemptiongames #circus #adventcalendar #christmas @Arcade1UpOfficial #clawmachine #toystory #gameroom
That’s awesome, great parents, such fun for your Kids!
you are so cute the whole family playing together. the little one's eyes when he sees the claw machine, magnificent. I think I shed a tear
That baby so smart
2 things that did wonders for my claw machine both function and aesthetically. I reversed the light cables so that the inside always stays on and the marquee blinks when the claw moves, also inside the machine I put 10lbs of black aquarium gravel. It stops the balls from moving around and makes that reflective background really pop. I have not had luck grabbing things in smooth packages like those Disney things but I can grab Funko Pops
@@fanelli78 oooh I like those ideas - I will try those that out, I’m not a fan of the blink so moving that to the marquee sounds great. On the easy setting my kiddo has been grabbing those Disney bags but we haven’t tried it on the other settings
Had a mini one years ago to put candy in one Christmas, but we ran out of candy, so I put my mother's insulin in there instead :P
God bless you
I have owned my Arcade1up Claw Machine for 6 weeks and have had no problems with it. It works well. I own 16 Arcade1up machines and 2 full-size arcade machines. They all still look new and work well.
I haven’t had many issues with any of mine either - I have 12 I think, I have to use the back door fix for the stuck claw somewhat frequently as my 2 year old can be pretty rough on it. One of the ways it will trigger a stuck claw is if you drop the claw down the prize hole (which he does frequently). Also I’ve had 3 of the plastic balls break when they hit the lip in the prize catching area - currently arcade1up doesn’t sell replacements but you can find them on Amazon
Does it have the ability to double tap?
No - there is a grip strength selector on the side but double tapping won’t do anything special
@@DrySocket-w4j thank you for the quick reply! Oh that's a real shame... I was really interested in this machine, but that's a major deal breaker for me if it doesn't have that... Double tap adds more skill based to the game with timing. I think I will go with the vevor one, even though it's a lot smaller because it's more commercial grade features.
I have a claw machine, and if you don't have young kids or you don't entertain frequently it really does just become a piece of furniture. It does look cool though!
Yeah it fits our theme for the room but I don’t see it getting a ton of use
Damn it, I wish a corgi were included 😮💨😆
No Corgi?
No deal.
Brand new claw machines might be expensive but I am in a local arcade group and some one in it was just wanting to get rid of there claw machine so I got my legit claw machine for $100
That’s a deal an a half right there!
Great review! How long did it take to build?
@@ericc947 about an hour - it’s really well designed for how it goes together, very simple and the claw install is incredibly easy to do - you just set it on the tracks, 2 safety screws then feed the cord to the back
What is the konami code?
@@specialagentorange4329 it’s an old cheat code that is most famous for giving you a bunch of extra lives in Contra. It’s been used in a ton of video games and is often used in programming for debugging and the like. For this machine they use a variation of it (up, up, down, down, left, left, right, right) - I’ll post a video on how to do it
↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → START, u will unlock free candy for a year 😂🤣
Corgi not included?!?!
I know right - had to get her separately!
nice batman pin everything, everything else is worthless
2 year old playing Arcade 1up Rampage is priceless
