For anyone curious to try todo, the switching mechanic is, ironically seeing as he's called the switcher, quite overlooked. Use it creatively and you can absolutely make use of it even in 1v1 ranked scenarios, this goes beyond avoiding attacks like Hollow Purple or Open, really put your mind to it and if you're good enough at the game you'll find yourself confusing people with even the highest of experience in the game. not going to go into too much detail because it's situational and again the number #1 tip is to pay attention and be creative, but before your clap is finished, use shiftlock to turn back, this causes your opponent to look away from you leaving them vulnerable. Epictheone mentioned that teleporting is blockable but if you're close enough it actually negates the block entirely, so it's location based, with that being said, look back before teleporting and you can ruin somebody's block. Also make sure to use it to avoid obvious to spot moves like blood edge, nue, reversal red, etc. Switched over from choso to Todo and even with the unfinished moveset I'm finding myself consistently winning ranked against people with an average of 5k kills and even at one point 10k kills, use the fact Todo is unconventional to your advantage, and trust me on this; once you have the hang of him he's an absolute blast to play, and can make for some hilarious situations if again, you're creative enough. (Also a final note, for anyone who cares, Todo is absolutely amazing at surviving Gojo in Ult and Sukuna in Ult, *never* underestimate how good the R special is)
another thing, you can actually use boogie woogie as a semi-combo extender, by m1ing 3 times, then turning around and using boogie woogie (not perfect or else it doesn't work for some reason) you can then m1 them 3 more times, because theyre facing away from you now, and its unblockable because boogie woogie cant be blocked close up, and unless they have a counter it works 90% of the time, and if they adapt to it and turn around, you can just fake clap and get your combo extension that way

One little tip that will Guarantee a free combo is if the megumi your fighting uses rabbit escape up close or trys to dash at you can just attack them while being hit by the rabbits all it would do is make your dash basically useless
fun fact: if you wanna play aggressive against megumi and they use toad right before you star comboing them, you can block just for a very small window of time and still hold up the combo when toad does it's move
do NOT dash out of m1ing gojos if you're quick enough you can punch them before rapid punches hits you. focus on punishing red and blue because of their mad endlag
Idk what's with yuji players but there's like 3 types people who use manji kick 1:never uses it at all 2:uses it but just gets punished 3:the rare ones that actually know to when to use it

*some more tips for megumi coming from a megumi main* if you see megumi using their special and coming at you, do NOT block, side dash away or counter instead. rabbit escape special variant is unblockable and especially if you don't have your ragdoll cancel they can toad you right after and start a combo and also they might just pull a throwable and just throw it at you at point blank, be careful about countering though since some of them might not use the move immediately and just waits before using it just to mess with you if megumi uses divine dogs on you, sure you can block but some megumis (like me) take advantage of this and immediately front dash and hit their behind and start a combo. divine dogs is supposed to be used for pressuring, keep this in mind (it does not deal that much damage) most megumis dont use dogs like this anyways, but still same tip on not using ragdoll cancel immediately from the gojo tips because megumi can also do some nasty combos if you use it (some common ragdoll cancel baits are uppercut and 4th m1, they want you to think they're gonna use a move right after) an example of a nasty combo is 3 m1s + uppercut + rabbit escape + front dash + 3 m1s + uppercut + toad + 3 m1s + downslam + nue + immediately dogs + slash as many times as you can or they'll use this if you still have evasive: 3 m1s + uppercut + side dash + rabbit escape + nue + side dash + dogs + try to start combo bonus: awakened megumi. you are cooked if the megumi you're fighting knows that if they press awakening again it swaps to their original moveset. if they use rabbit escape on you and you couldn't cancel it, that means you're dead because they can land a FREE max elephant on you and even if you ragdoll cancel right after they can catch you with dogs and then toad and then nue and then great serpent and then shadow swarm AND THEN RABBIT ESCAPE AGAIN!!!!!!
another thing, if a good megumi catches you w great serpent, you are dead unless you have awk, cause they can just -Great Serpent (cant use evasive) -Max Elephant (cant use evasive) -Nue (cant use evasive) -Toad (cant use evasive) -3m1s (4m1s if youre a character w 85hp, also youre dead atp if you have 85hp) -Uppercut (can use evasive, after this or the fourth m1 use awk immediately for I-frames and healing) -Rabbit Escape -Shadow Swarm
Here isthe counterplay to some of counterplay mentioned in the video: GOJO: 0:11 Just use rapid punches after first punch, 9 times out of ten they ain't doging that. 0:37 in order to force someone to waste their evasive, you need to do BackDash+Lapse Blue. In this way, they'll be forced to rag cancel and block, wile also not be able to punish you in time cuz of ur BackDash. 1:08 imidietly use 3 after teleporting if you know that ur opponet will block. If ur openent always punishes ur tp with m1, then don't TP outside of combo. MEGUMI: 1:47 instead of just using 1, u should use Rabbit Escape+BackDash wile also being as far awy as possible, since in this way u create enough distance to preven from ur opponet hitting u with FrontDash. 2:12 u should use Nue only after atleast 3-4 rabbits from ur 1rst skill land on ur opponent, in this way they'll never doge from Da Biggest Bird. 2:24 Just don't do it lol. 2:33 Toad is a combo move, so u should onnly use it this way if u know that ur opponent will get hit by it. 2:59 Divine dog should only be used rather as a punishing tool, or a combo extender when fighting against Yuji. when fighting against anyone else, than you need to hold F emidiatly after using The Dawg (if there is posebility of u getting punnished YUJI: 3:48 u should rather be able to react in time and DON'T dash behind them if they have already turned around, or u can feint ur Black Flash and then just m1 combo them. Will alwys work for the first time of using this on them. 4:05 just use BackDash after kcnoking them away with ur Black Flash. MAHITO: 4:23 just don't spam to much, and you'll be fine. 4:30 don't use Body Repel if they are to close or if they didn't waste they evasive (if u doing a combo). if they are far away but close enough to punish u after u use ur 4th skill, u should use "4+3" variant of Body Repel (the one where u go forward with the worm). 5:15 when fighting against Yuji, you shoud try to bait out their counter with Soul Fire by missing it on purpose. CHOSO: 5:31 just don't use ur 1st skill if they didn't use their evasive. 5:37 don't spam blood edge, Capiche? 5:45 In order to waste their evasive, you should try faking that you want to DownSlam them (just like in TSB). HAKARI: 6:04 the fact that Reverse Balls are easy to counter, also means that it's easy to BAIT OUT the counter with it. Ceep it in mind! 6:28 after using Rough Energy or Fever Breaker, u should ALWAYS use a BackDash, NOT SideDash (if they have evasive). 6:45 instead of doing THAT, u should try this combo: 3m1+uppercut>4>wait a lil' bit>1+2>FrontDash>3m1+uppercut>3. This combo deals 53 dmg but can be escaped with evasive. 7:15 just don't use Shutter Doors on someone who is blocking. TODO: Don't spam ur moves, OK?
4:55 There's technically three. You could time the ragdoll recovery a moment before body repel hits you. Since most mahitos turn around to drag you back to them, they'll have their back turned for you to attack
smth cool about todo is camera manipulation, while you inherit todos camera POV, he also inherits yours. while this does mean he can leave you open by facing your block away from attacks, you can do the same to him by looking away, but this also lets him to feint you with a fake clap todo can also do 4 m1 into either swift kick or brute force, and if you use your evasive to escape brute force, he can kinda tech chase you with the grapple half of swift kick, which gives them a chance to get a confirmed brute force after since no ragdoll cancel this makes a 50/50 mix up after getting knocked down by 4 m1s, either use evasive to dodge a brute force, or save evasive to avoid getting hard punished by swift kicks with a confirm into brute force, and instead tank a swift kicks and ragdoll after that to avoid the brute force confirm source: i made this all up
Small correction: Megumi's Toad can be cancelled. When the move is cast, there is a 0,2 second window for your character to do the handsign, and then summon the toad. If hit during that time, the Toad will cancel. Very tight, yes, but Ik someone is gonna eb able to make some use of this information.
thing about mahito, literally all his base moves can hit ragdolls, and ragdoll ppl, and he has an unblockable dash that once again ragdolls and can hit ragdolls. so if u dont have ur evassive chances are u aint ever standing back up off the ground
View todos swap as Gojos blue and while playing todo if you turn around right before swapping (kinda like how to teleport behind people as gojo) it’s now unblockable and turns the opponent away from u just remember as todo wherever the enemies cameras looking you’ll be looking at after a swap
Playing agais'nt an Mahito professional main is like fighting agais'nt 2.5 characthers at the same time (in base) and 3 in the first ult, in the TF Ult you fight agais'nt one (but feels like an Soul Boss fight). I said it like one of them👻🐐
The gojo one is a bit lackluster since it doesnt mention gojo teleporting behind you and the twofold kick having a really short i-frame at start and the rapid punches having a hitbox so big you probably wont dodge it not only counter
heres another tip for megumi never and when i say never waste ragdoll carelessly they can us rabbits or toad for a free m1 start up to toad then downslam to nue to another downslam his rabbit variant is counterable so try to counter it

There is just one counterplay to Todo's R, and that is GamePad's LockOn (saing it as console player myself)

Yuji is so busted, his feint dash has near zero cooldown, and cursed strikes legit has like a 4 second cooldown (or somewhere close to that) 😭
