I did Killy a couple of weeks ago. I went with a group from Central Coast 4x4 Adventures. My Hilux was the only vehicle with IFS and it did me proud! I only needed to winch in one spot (where the rope snapped), other than that I did well. I put a brand new winch rope on before doing the run because I knew how tough it can be. I don't have diff locks so picking the right line is key to getting through. Great video yet again! Hit me up if you ever want to do a run with another Hilux!
Nice one mate! It’s definitely a fun good challenge, ur right about lines though, there was a couple of sections we drove around but coulda been interesting to try. What years ur Hilux? I would be keen to go back through there one day in a year or so, just give it some time to see if the track changes much over time
G'day My Lux was an 02 model but I've since upgraded to a 2012 RG Colorado. I got offered a trade in price I couldn't refuse! The Lux was fun but I'm getting old and I just retired so I wanted something more modern and comfortable. I'm still setting the Colorado up as a capable cruiser so I haven't had it off road as yet. Keep your great videos coming!
@patelliott8724 Hi Pat, no one can hold that against you, sounds to me like you’ve made a good decision. You gotta be comfy on those bigger trips or they can really turn into a struggle. Hope the set up goes well and flick me a photo one day if u can! Enjoy mate
@6:40 - That seatbelt pop! Haha.. You try to release it but it stays, then you lean over and it pops out. You look shocked, look at your son, who is oblivious! So funny!!
Good old Killy never disappoints 😂
Awesome little track 👌🏻

Great video mate, hope you never get rid of the hilux, I love watching it on the tracks!
It’s definitely not in the plans mate!
Cheers
Cool video mate. I'm still to do the Killy Loop and don't even know how to get to it. I presume a quick google would sort that out for me
Definitely a track worth doing mate 👍🏻
Can't believe you didn't use the log 17:50. Should be an indispensable aid for all adventure trekking. LOL!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gotta hand it to him though he had the right idea 👌🏻👌🏻
