I just my first bed in a 2012 Odyssey thanks to you and am just taking short trips to make adjustments to what I carry. Your information has been invaluable. I did purchase a VTo man 1500x for some power at home when the power goes out and I travel with that for now. Thanks so much for all your videos.
Awesome! This channel is demonetized, so it makes my day to hear when someone finds it useful. The short trips idea is SMART, you’ll need less than you think, especially where clothes are concerned. At least that’s what I found. Thank you for your comment and for watching! See you on the road!
EXCELLECT video! One of the better YTs I've seen. Useful, to the point and no time wasting attempted comedy. Spent much time urban camping in a mini in the NE in early 2010s, so I've been there and did much without your relatively high tech. Kudos to you and thanks.
Thank you very much for your kind words, sir! Though the tech is not necessary, as you know, it sure does make it more comfortable! Thank you for watching!
Thank you for the video. You presented a lot of good practical information for anyone who is thinking about "going electric." in 2018 I converted a Promaster into a camper for my part-time van dwelling life. Initially, I used a butane stove, which I still use to cook outdoors or with my Omnia oven. However, I went mostly all electric (even when boon docking) around 2 years ago. I do have a big system including 3kw of battery power and 2kw inverter power. If I'm reasonable I can cook almost anything. Naturally, I watch my battery levels and the time of day when I cook (for solar reasons). Here are some of the appliances that I use with success: An induction burner-usually cooking at a lower power just because high power burns food. 900 watts at the lower setting (the unit has 3 actual power levels, but cycles power on and off for the remaining 7 levels). A capsule coffee pot- around 5 min for 1 cup of coffee, 600 watt input power A microwave-for 4-6 minutes at a time, input power 1100 watts. A 3 quart Instant pot clone at around 650 watts input. This appliance is very efficient as it only uses full power until it reaches pressure. once at pressure it cycles on for only 20% of the time. I just picked up a tiny 1 qt air fryer for $20 on eBay. It uses 700 watts and I have successfully tried it out in my sticks and bricks home. I have not used it in the camper yet, but I'm looking forwards to giving it a try. I'm much happier using electricity for all of the reasons that you listed, plus I never have to find replacement cans of butane. Thanks again for your video.
Wow, thank you for relating your own experiences, that will help a lot of people reading this! An air fryer is something I’ve never even considered, but you have proven it’s workable. Thanks for watching and more importantly, conveying your knowledge!
Thanks! I never really thought about it before finding this product. Now I wonder everyone doesn’t use it, even at home. Thank you for your continued support!
Excellent video.... great production. I have finished my build out and and upgraded from an Ecoflow River 2 and as budget allowed, I finally got my 2kw system installed. I love your review of items in this video and I have made up my mind on which electrical appliances to add. Please send me information regarding the Quartzite meet up. Thank you again,
Thank you for your kind compliments! I’d very much like to see your set up! A friend of mine, “Grand Adventure TV” here on RUclips is organizing an RV rally from the 19th to the 29th of January. You can get all the details by applying to the “Q24 RV Rally - Quartzsite” on Facebook. There is an application form for the events, but if you don’t want to attend, just ping me if you are in the area and we’ll meet up. Thanks for watching!
@@OdysseyCamper I need to be here to dog-sit from Jan19th-31st. Would love to meet up and actually be on the road with my build out. I also would really like to meet up with other Honda Odyssey people..... compare ideas. I am all for a meet up if it works with my prior commitment. LET ME KNOW exact dates
Great question! 12V appliances are usually limited to 15-20A which reduces the total wattage they put out. I compared a 12V and 120V water heater coil in an old video and the 12V performed dismally.
I love the old 70's score😂
Thanks for noticing 😀 I had fun doing it! Glad you liked it!
Yaaaaaaa you are back
😀Thanks for your continued support! 😀

Your videos are not only informative, but very clear and easy to understand. Thank you for sharing the information. Great job!
Thanks man, it's great to hear feedback from the viewers! Thank you for the compliment and for watching!

Very, very helpful as I plan for using my motorcycle camper. I really appreciate the amount of thought and effort you put into this great video.
Thank you, I appreciate you watching! Safe Travels!
I camp in an Odyssey too, similar methods as you. Thumbs up.
Cool! Thanks for the "thumbs up" and thank you for watching!
Excellent video. I didnt know that much about induction cooking, so thanks.

Thanks for the video. Great information as always. You never disappoint us with good info.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
I find a small 500 watt induction stove and use 3 cup coffee percolator. Takes 5 minutes. 9 cup percolator takes 13 min
@@hauk3839 Smart! Time is energy. Thanks for the idea and for watching!

Ah... I'm watching a retrospect intro. For a second there I thought "Doesn't this guy age?!?"
LOL 😂
I wish you would do something on the cameras and how you hide them. I really want to do it for mine🙁
OK, I will. Stay tuned!

@OdysseyCamper I knew, I was asking the right man this question! Thanks for your response. Hope you are well on your adventures.
